AEW held its All Out pay-per-view on Saturday night from the Sears Center outside of Chicago, Ill. The main matches on the show featured Pac defeating Kenny Omega, the Luchs Brothers beating the Young Bucks and Chris Jericho beating Hangman Adam Page to become the first-ever AEW World Champion. JURASSIC EXPRESS The announce team did a nice job of pumping this as a big win for SCU, and I liked how they openly talked about how neither team had a win yet in AEW and this was a big match for both sides....

Cloud9 have removed Tyson “TenZ” Ngo from their active CS:GO lineup, the organization announced on Sunday. TenZ first joined the roster in July as part of the organization’s overhaul of the Counter-Strike division. Former Lazarus rifler Yassine “Subroza” Taoufik has joined the team on a trial basis, and will compete with the squad during ECS Season 8 and the upcoming BLAST Pro Series Copenhagen. Cloud9 announced the roster update in a video, where Counter-Strike coach James “JamezIRL” Macaulay cites differences between players as a motivation for TenZ’s benching....

We first told you about Double Fine Studios’ Costume Quest not too long ago with its throwback to a Earthbound-game dressed in a Halloween theme. Now we have some footage to give you a tiny, Verne Troyer style, taste of the gameplay and the overall tone of the game. The art style of the game makes it very clear that gamers are about to play through a Double Fine game. For me, this game almost feels like a spiritual successor to Psychonauts, playing off the idea of a child’s imagination....

Ever since its release, Crash Team Racing: Nitro Fueled has become possibly one of the biggest racing games ever. Its regular Grand Prix events, where players complete challenges to earn points, have introduced a tonne of new content to the game, including characters, karts, courses and more. And after eight months, Activision has decided to bring these events to an end. Activision confirmed via a blog post on its official website that it will be holding one final Grand Prix, which will be announced shortly after the conclusion of the current Grand Prix, which is ending over the weekend....

Dead by Daylight, the popular asymmetrical multiplayer horror game, is coming to mobile devices. Behaviour Interactive, the developer of Dead by Daylight, confirmed further details about the mobile port of the game. Those details include Dead by Daylight Mobile’s new release window, which will be spring 2020 in the American and European markets for iOS and Android devices. For those unfamiliar with Dead by Daylight Mobile, it’s planned to offer a strikingly similar experience to what’s already available on PC and consoles....

When Koei Tecmo and DMM added Tina to the Japanese version of Dead or Alive Xtreme Venus Vacation, English-speaking fans prepared for a long wait. Usually, the English versions of the game on Steam and Johren are behind in content by about a year, which means that long a wait to receive a new lady after she has been added to the Japanese version. Yet, Tina Armstrong will not be made to wait, and she has been added today to both platforms....

Death Stranding: Director’s Cut is on its way to PlayStation 5. During Summer Game Fest 2021, Hideo Kojima spoke with Geoff Keighley and revealed the game. It looks as if Kojima and his team have spliced Death Stranding with a bit of Metal Gear Solid. Hideo Kojima’s Norman Reedus-fronted Death Stranding will ship on PlayStation 4 in June 2019, according to a listing on Walmart Canada (via VG247). Yes, that Walmart Canada. The same retailer that leaked Rage 2, and also listed ‘Forza Horizons 5’ on its website. One Twitter user, probably surprised to see the date listed, decided to contact Walmart for more info. Here’s the reply: Death Stranding has never officially been given a release date, and we still don’t really know that much about it....

Bungie has disabled the Wormgod Caress Titan exotic in Destiny 2 after players discovered a “game-breaking” glitch involving the armor piece’s perk. Using a simple trick, players could deal massive damage with the Wormgod Caress equipped and apparently Bungie saw that as enough of a problem to disable the exotic. While this glitch had likely been in Destiny 2 since the start of the Season of Dawn, it was only recently that players discovered it’s utility....

Destiny 2’s Pit of Heresy dungeon has been in the game for about two weeks now, and it hasn’t taken guardians very long to conquer it in style. There have been players who have solo’d it, and players who have done the entire thing flawlessly. There’s even been a player who’s beaten it using only using melee attacks. This same player, a streamer named Gladd, tackled the Pit of Heresy again....

Indeed, the concept itself — one that capped weapons and armors from older seasons and made them useless for current content — had me greatly worried when it was announced. Publisher Devolver Digital has acquired Serious Sam and The Talos Principle developer Croteam, the two have announced. In a joint statement, the companies spoke on their joint history together, from Croteam first getting the original Serious Sam signed with publishing label Gathering of Developers who some of their staff later breaking off to form Devolver when the latter company formed in 2009. They then reconnected with Croteam by Serious Sam 3 in 2011 and the two have been together ever since, most recently releasing Serious Sam 4 last month....

Call of Duty: Vanguard and Call of Duty: Warzone are to get some limited-time game modes, bundles and more in a Festive Fervor event kicking off later this week. First off, Vanguard will see the return of Armageddon Mode where teams must fight for control of a marked area. Care packages will be delivered (presumably from Santa) until a certain amount are nabbed. Then the location moves, and it all starts again....

A few weeks ago Call of Juarez: Gunslinger vanished from Steam but there was a good reason as the game’s developer Techland is now back in control.
