Infinity Ward has released a new playlist update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. This is the final playlist update before the release of Season 2 on February 11th which promises to bring all sorts of new content, including the return of a major MW2 map.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is going all out with this new update to celebrate the end of Season 1. It adds multiple 24/7 playlists including the fan favorite Shoot House 24/7, as well as a few new playlists that were teased just a few days ago.

The new playlists coming to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare today include Face Off Grind, Shipment 24/7, Shoot House 24/7, Shoot the Ship Hardcore, Hardcore 10v10 Mosh Pit, and regular 10v10 Mosh Pit. The usual weekly updates have been somewhat controversial with fans for removing 24/7 playlists and replacing them with a different one. However, this update adds three at once, including Shoot the Ship Hardcore. It’s no surprise seeing the return of Shipment 24/7 and Shoot House 24/7, as they seem to be the most popular 24/7 playlists with fans.

The starring attraction of this update is the brand new playlist Face Off Grind. It introduces a new game mode, Gunfight Grind, which is a mash up of both the single life Gunfight mode and the classic Multiplayer Grind mode. Infinity Ward believes this combination of play styles will work well in the close quarters design of the Gunfight arena.

In Face Off Grind, players join a 2v2 Gunfight match, but instead of being one-life-per-round, it mimics the Grind playlist. It’s also similar to Kill Confirmed in that killed enemies drop dog tags. The difference is that players have to take those dog tags to banks on the map to gain points. If players die with multiple tags on them, the enemy team can retrieve them and score the points.

This update also includes two versions of Mosh Pit, Hardcore 10v10 Mosh Pit and 10v10 Mosh Pit. Hardcore 10v10 Mosh Pit will include Team Deathmatch, Domination, Kill Confirmed, and Headquarters. 10v10 Mosh Pit, meanwhile, will feature Domination, Kill Confirmed, and Headquarters. All of this should make for a fun, if chaotic, week before the release of Season 2, which will hopefully bring some much needed balancing to guns in Modern Warfare.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Season 1 is set to end on February 11th, which will also bring the start of Season 2.
