Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is due out in less than a month’s time, but we still don’t know all of the multiplayer game modes that will be included in the blockbuster FPS. However, dataminers have sifted through the game’s files and have discovered the full list of game modes for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare game mode list includes a whopping 34 game modes, some of which have Hardcore variants. 34 game modes is quite a bit, though, and it would be surprising to see all of them in the game at launch. In fact, it’s quite possible that some of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare game modes discovered by dataminers won’t even make it to the game at all. Others will likely be added post-launch, maybe as limited-time events or as permanent additions.

As can be seen by the list of leaked Call of Duty: Modern Warfare game modes, there’s quite a few mainstays included, as well as stranger modes. It appears some fan favorite game modes like Gun Game, One in the Chamber, Kill Confirmed, and Demolition will be coming back, and they will be joined by modes like Team Juggernaut and Grind.
Again, we must stress that it’s highly unlikely that all of these game modes will be in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare at launch. Some will no doubt be added post-launch, and some may never materialize at all. Regardless, the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare multiplayer experience should still provide plenty of variety for players on launch day.
The game will launch with standard game modes, in addition to two modes that are sure to shake up the traditional Call of Duty multiplayer formula and provide players more variety than they’re used to in a Call of Duty game. The two modes in question are the 2v2 Gunfight mode, as well as the 32v32 Ground War mode, both of which have been met with a lot of enthusiasm from the community so far.
Whether or not those modes remain popular as people stand more time with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare remains to be seen, but it will be interesting to see what happens come the game’s launch on October 25.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare launches on October 25 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
