A newly discovered glitch is letting Call of Duty: Modern Warfare players explore the unreleased battle royale map. The map is currently in a very unfinished state, but players have found a way to explore what’s in the game right now.

A reddit post entitled “If you spectate in a private match on Vacant, you can explore the entire Ground War/ Battle Royale map” has popped up on the Modern Warfare subreddit. It includes a 75 second video of a player zipping around a very large map that is supposedly meant for Ground War and the new battle royale mode. If players load up a private match in the newly-added Vacant map and spectate they will be able to view the map with a ghost camera.

The video shows an unfinished map with incomplete textures. Many of the areas, like the castle, are reminiscent of areas from older Call of Duty: Modern Warfare games as well as maps from the current game. Within the giant map, there is a small area that is just the Vacant map. There is also a dam section and some other areas that fans have yet to figure out whether or not they are callbacks or brand new ideas.

The comments speculate quite a bit on whether or not the Modern Warfare battle royale mode will be any good, and for good reason. Many of the moves Infinity Ward and Activision have made when it comes to supporting the game have upset the community. From taking away and promising to bring back Gunfight to charging for some pretty basic functionality, Modern Warfare’s post-release support has been all over the place. The Blackout mode in Black Ops 4 was a great success, but its hard to say if Infinity Ward can pull off a take on this popular genre as well as Treyarch did last year.

For fans, this game may not be reaching the heights of some of the Black Ops titles but still is one of the most popular Call of Duty titles in years. The fact that it has such a vocal, large player base speaks volumes to the popularity of the game in a generation where battle royale games like Fortnite and PUBG are eating Activision’s lunch.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
