Activision has revealed the latest cosmetic packs for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare in a blog post on its website. Now that the game is in Season 1, Infinity Ward is beginning to ramp up the content drop rate for Modern Warfare. The first week of Season 1 introduced a battle pass, introduced the classic Modern Warfare map Crash, and added new game modes to both the multiplayer and Spec Ops.
Starting today, two new Featured Bundles have arrived in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. The packs are called “Mother Russia” and “Cold Blood.” Each is on sale for 2400 CP and comes with an operator, weapons, multiple types of cosmetics and a one tier skip for the battle pass. 2,000 CP plus a 400 CP bonus will run players $19.99. This tier skip allows players instantly unlock and progress through a tier in Modern Warfare’s battle pass.
The blog post has two blurbs describing the vibe and contents of each Featured Bundle. Fans can choose which bundle they want based on the new guns and cosmetics included, or surely many hardcore players will invest in both eventually.
Despite the continued support, Modern Warfare is still a work in progress. The first couple months have brought a ton of balancing issues to light and some of the modes, specifically Spec Ops, just simply are not up to the same level as the rest of the content. So far Season 1 is delivering on the quantity of new content but only time will tell if the quality is consistent enough to keep its player base engaged.
