Call of Duty isn’t exactly known for its squeaky clean online experience and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare isn’t an exception to this. It’s relatively common for players to find themselves on the wrong end of a tirade that would make even the most experienced sailors blush.

It’s a pretty satisfying moment, then, when these kinds of trash talkers are not only defeated in-game but have their shame caught on camera. Such was the case in this new viral video, which has gained over 19 thousand likes in the span of a day.

Posted by Reddit user BobbyBoJanglles, the video depicts a rather one-sided match in the new game mode, Gunfight. Gunfight is a mode that pits two teams of two players against each other in a small, mostly-mirrored arena. Each player receives the same predetermined loadout with the same random customizations applied as everyone else battling. In other words, it’s a mode that relies on the skill of the player, not the power of a particular weapon or the quirks of a particular map. There’s no meta or excuses to fall back on when losing here.

The team opposing Bobby’s felt so confident in their skills that they claimed victory before the match even started. Things go downhill for them fairly quickly after that. The video goes on to display Bobby and his teammate dominating the game, winning all six rounds necessary to claim the match without a single loss. In fact, the Gunfight duo only suffered one death in the process. The game becomes so obviously one-sided that even the original trash talker admits they lost before the final round concludes.

Again, talking trash isn’t something new to Call of Duty. Some players actually like a good verbal joust during matches, some of the comments posted this video state as much. Whether or not these individuals know how to do it in an obviously light-hearted way remains to be seen, though. It’s fairly common for trash talk to get toxic, especially when it happens between players who don’t know one another.

However, the battle between Bobby’s team and the opposing doesn’t seem to have ended on a terribly bad note. Everyone seems to have a good laugh about the curb-stomping in the end, with only a few expletives thrown out here and there. And really, that’s all that matters at the end of the day.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
