Capcom’s Monster Hunter: World continues to receive healthy support and updates long after its release with the most recent one being a full-on DLC expansion called Iceborne. Shortly after Iceborne’s release, the official Twitter account posted a roadmap that outlined future updates to the game and what was to come in the months ahead. Now that we are in November, Capcom has revealed what players can expect throughout the month.

First (and to everyone’s surprise), there is going to be a collaboration with Resident Evil 2. Initially announced in October, the Raccoon City Collaboration’s first details were revealed yesterday. As part of the event, players will be tasked with hunting down a special Blackveil Vaal Hazak whose Effluvia spores are “out of the ordinary.” According to the official website, “To counter the effects of whatever this not-Effluvia is, you’ll need to keep an eye out for Green Herbs (and even Red Herbs for a more powerful combo) on the field.” The Red and Green Herbs are a reference to the Resident Evil games where players use them to craft various healing items.

Players who are able to successfully defeat the monster will be rewarded with materials that they can use to craft armor sets modeled after Resident Evil 2’s main characters, Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield. On top of that, other rewards include Raccoon City-themed pendants for weapons.

Another update players can look forward to in November are the Weapon Design and Palico Design contest winners. Before Iceborne came out, Capcom held a contest where players had to come up with a new weapon design and a new set of armor for Palicos. Once the finalists were selected, fans could then vote for their favorite ones and whichever designs won, they would be featured in the game. The winners for the Weapon Design and Palico Design were announced last month, and will now be making their way into the game.

Lastly, the PS4 exclusive collaboration with Horizon Zero Dawn returns in November. Not much has been revealed about the collaboration except that players will hunt a Zinogre and receive materials to craft Aloy’s “Stormslinger Prototype” Light Bowgun.

The Resident Evil 2 event, along with the Weapon Design and Palico Design, will be available for PS4 and Xbox One players on November 7. PS4 players will be able to tackle the tundra of Horizon Zero Dawn’s new event on November 21.
