The Australian Government has rated a ‘Castlevania: Advance Collection‘ over the weekend, indicating a new compilation is potentially on the way.

As spotted over the weekend by Gematsu, the board rated the as-yet-unannounced collection for a ‘Multi Platform’ release, but didn’t say which ones they were. It also didn’t detail exactly which games would be in the collection either.

However, the ‘Advance’ in the title seems to indicate that the compendium could include the three Castlevania games that released for the Game Boy Advance between 2001 and 2003. These included Castlevania: Circle of the Moon, Castlevania Harmony of Dissonance and Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow.

All three games previously launched separately on the Wii U Virtual Console, but never as a collection. Publisher Konami has previously released a compilation of eight other Castlevania games back in 2019 in the form of the Castlevania Anniversary Collection.

Fingers crossed if true, we’ll hear more on this Castlevania Advance Collection soon. Konami were originally scheduled to appear at this year’s E3, but would later pull out due to “timing” issues.
