After the success of its first monitor offering, Corsair has decided to up the ante with new entries for consumers. The company has announced the launch of two new gaming monitors: Corsair Xeneon 32UHD144 and Corsair Xeneon 32QHD240.
The first new monitor, the 32UHD144, offers a 4K IPS display with a 144Hz refresh rate and support for DisplayHDR 600. The monitor also features a DisplayPort 1.4 input as well as dual HDMI 2.1 (the real HDMI 2.1) connections, allowing users to even take full advantage of consoles like the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5. Lastly, there’s a built-in USB 3.1 HUB for extra peripheral connections.
The second offering from Corsair, the 32QHD240, is a 1440p IPS display that offers a refresh rate up to 240Hz. Like the 32UHD144, it supports DisplayHDR 600 and has a DisplayPort 1.4 input. Unlike the 4K model, however, it only includes HDMI 2.0 rather than 2.1.
Different yet similar
As far as the similarities, there are quite a few. Both monitors feature 100×100 VESA mount compatibility and have an advertised 1ms peak response time. Each are AMD FreeSync™ Premium certified and NVIDIA® G-SYNC compatible — making it an option no matter the graphics card in your machine. Both come with a three-year warranty and a “Zero Dead Pixel” guarantee from Corsair.
Regarding monitor controls, both feature the same five-way joystick control as the Xeneon 32QHD165 for OSD configuration. Interestingly, one thing that sets Xeneon monitors apart from other brands are the configurable options via Corsair’s iCUE software, including picture mode, brightness, contrast, and more. The monitors will also support input switching via the Elgato Stream Deck.
Lastly, because it’s Corsair, there is the option to add a mount to the top of the monitor to attach your webcam or key light.
The Corsair 32UHD144 retails for $999.99, but you can save $100 if you choose to purchase it without the stand. The 32QHD240 will cost you $699.99 with the stand or $649.99 without it.
