Crackdown 3’s latest unveiling of Terry Crews seems to have struck a chord with some people. Twitter user @a_toxic_penguin found themselves on the end of a blunt retort from the much-loved actor after making a comment that nobody would care about Crackdown 3 if it wasn’t for Terry Crews being attached to the project.

Following Crews’ response, Microsoft marketing head Aaron Greenberg and the official Crackdown 3 Twitter even posted gifs in support of Crews’s reaction.

So start caring, bitch. https://t.co/KKkX1YpL6R

After Crews’ retweet the user changed their profile to the say, ‘Please buy crackdown 3, Terry Crews will haunt me if you don’t’. Following the  exchange with Crews, the contrite Penguin did say they’re looking forward to the game, but Crews’s involvement had increased the game’s appeal.

Terry Crews is Commander Isaiah Jaxon in Crackdown 3, aptly named after his son, Jackson. As Commander Jaxon, Crews’ character heads up a specialised team of Agents who’ve been tasked with hunting down a corporation called TerraNova, who’re responsible for a series of global blackouts. As the story unfolds it becomes clear that TerraNova isn’t just a corporation, but a collective of villains hell bent on world domination. The Agents, obviously, are the ones who’ll be responsible for taking them to task.

Not tryna say Crackdown 3 is gonna be bad, quite the contrary, I like destruction and stuff, but Terry alone probably quadrupled its appeal.
