Journey, the artistic and serene adventure game from thatgamecompany, arrives on Steam later this year.

Originally launched for the PlayStation 3, the game was previously ported to PC and is available through the Epic Games Store. Journey has received immeasurable praise for its quiet, anonymous exploration of an endless desert. The player uses their magical scarf to jump, fly, and construct bridges across these sandy ruins, and travel to a mysterious mountain bathed in light. During the game’s levels, it’s possible for two players to find each other and follow the story together. It’s a deeply affecting game, and one that was designed to “show the positive side of humanity”:

Journey is out now for PC, iOS, PlayStation 4, and launches on Steam on June 11.

In Journey, you sometimes come across other players. They can’t talk to you, but this one did this at the very end of the game. Hit me hard pic.twitter.com/2jFDaU6BFo
