Dark Souls 3 has been given a launch date in Japan: March 24, 2016.

While there’s no word as yet on a Western release, recent games in the series have all released worldwide around the same time – Dark Souls 2 for example released in PAL regions just one day later than in Japan.

Bandai Namco declined to comment when contacted by VideoGamer.com about a European release date.

The Japanese product page also offers a glimpse at an apparent collector’s edition, which looks to include a physical world map and soundtrack CD.

As far as we know, Dark Souls 3 is still listed for “early 2016” in the West.
