Development on PlayStation exclusive Days Gone is now officially in the books as Sony’s Bend Studio has tweeted out over the weekend that the upcoming game has officially gone gold.

The game, due for release next month will see you play as biker Deacon St John attempting to return to the church he married his sweetheart in the middle of a zombie apocalypse and as previously reported will feature ‘around 6 hours of cutscenes’.  In an interview with GamerBraves, community manager David Lee confirmed that post-launch DLC is in the pipeline, although details are currently under wraps as to what specifically that’ll entail.

Days Gone is set to release exclusively for PlayStation 4 on April 26 and will also be available in a fancy Collector’s Edition.
