We’re closing out the year with a bang. The PC game releases in December 2021 include Halo Infinite, Solar Ash, Icarus, Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker, Chorus, Syberia: The World Before, The Gunk, and many others. These should, hopefully, tide you over until we welcome the new year.

December 2021 PC game releases – Halo Infinite, Solar Ash, Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker, Syberia: The World Before, and more

Solar Ash (Heart Machine): December 2

Enter a vibrant world where you’ll need to eliminate your foes, including gargantuan bosses, and master high-speed traversal.

Century: Age of Ashes (Playwing LTD): December 2

A free-to-play game where you control dragons and engage other players in aerial combat. The game was originally set to come out in February 2021, but it has been pushed back to December 2021 instead.

Chorus (Deep Silver): December 3

In this sci-fi space shooter, your character will be able to unlock new abilities and devastating weapons for her ship.

Icarus (RocketWerkz): December 4

Dean Hall, creator of DayZ, is planning to bring a session-based, sci-fi survival game set in a world where terraforming has gone wrong.

Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker (Square Enix): December 7

The Endwalker expansion will conclude the Final Fantasy XIV‘s main arc, though new stuff will follow in future updates.

Spellforce III Reforced (Grimoire Games/THQ Nordic): December 7

Spellforce III Reforced includes improved mechanics, reworked RTS faction designs, gamepad support, a new Journey Mode, and more.

Heavenly Bodies (2pt Interactive): December 7

Control a cosmonaut and various space contraptions surrounding you in this physics-based puzzle game.

White Shadows (Monokel): December 7

This adventure platformer takes place has a dystopian setting, with a thematic monochrome art style.

Halo Infinite (343 Studios): December 8

Witness the return of Master Chief in the latest addition to the Halo mythos. The multiplayer beta for Halo Infinite was released last month and it was quickly packed by a lot of players. The official release this December 2021 includes the full campaign.

Wytchwood (Alientrap): December 8

This crafting adventure game has you controlling a witch stuck in a land of fairytales. You’ll collect ingredients and create spells.

After the Fall (Vertigo Games): December 9

A VR game set during a zombie plague outbreak in Los Angeles.

Blasphemous: Wounds of Eventide (The Game Kitchen): December 9

The final DLC for Blasphemous will be available as a free update.

Syberia: The World Before (Microids): December 10

Solve puzzles and uncover a mystery that spans multiple continents and timelines.

Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon (Vine/Yacht Club Games): December 13

Join the Shovel Knight characters as they try to make their way past falling block puzzles with a dash of dungeon-delving.

Aeterna Noctis (Aeternum Game Studios): December 15

Make your way through 16 interconnected areas in this 2D Metroidvania with hand-drawn graphics.

The Gunk (Image & Form Games): December 16

Lead a team of explorers as they try to survive on a planet filled with, you guessed it, gunk. It’s made by the studio behind the SteamWorld games.

Alfred Hitchcock – Vertigo (Pendulo Studios): December 16

Experience the lives of three characters in this game inspired by Alfred Hitchcock’s works.

Five Nights At Freddy’s: Security Breach (Steel Wool Studios): December 16

This is the eighth installment in the Five Night’s At Freddy’s (FNAF) series. Be ready for a lot of jumpscares as you try to survive until morning.
