Learning the Dungeon and Raid rotation allows you to progress faster into Destiny 2’s levelling end-game.
Each week, a new Dungeon and Raid are highlighted to give Pinnacle drops - the most powerful gear in Destiny 2.
It’s also a good excuse to return to some previous end-game activities you might have overlooked - and get some unique loot along the way.

How does the Destiny 2 Raid and Dungeon rotation schedule work?
Destiny 2 contains a number of Dungeons and Raids. These are endgame activities, tuned for teams of three and six skilled Guardians, respectively.
The latest of each, like King’s Fall in the current season, will drop Pinnacle rewards the first time you complete them each week, resetting at the weekly reset.
This season, the current Dungeon is Spire of the Watcher, and the current Raid is King’s Fall.
In addition to this, one older Dungeon and Raid will be featured, and will also drop a Pinnacle reward on completion. This is only on the final boss - so feel free to join a friend or team if they have a checkpoint.
The Pinnacle will only drop once, but you can also farm the featured Dungeon and Raid for the Legendary equipment specific to those locations. It’s a great way to fill out your collection and/or chase a god roll on a specific gun, such as Vault of Glass’s Fatebringer.
Destiny 2 Dungeon Rotation: What is the Pinnacle Dungeon this week?
As well as the latest Dungeons (Duality and Spire of the Watcher), there are four legacy Dungeons, each one rotating to offer a Pinnacle reward each week once you complete the final encounter.
Note for Season of the Seraph: While the Raid rotation is the same as previously, Dungeons may shift slighlty with the addition of Spire of the Watcher. Be sure to check here for updates.

- December 6 to December 13th - Shattered Throne, Dreaming City
- December 13th to December 20th - Pit of Heresy, Moon
- December 20th to December 27th - Prophecy, Legends
- December 27th to January 3rd - Grasp of Avarice, Cosmodrome
- January 3rd to January 10th - Shattered Throne, Dreaming City
- January 10th to January 17th - Pit of Heresy, Moon
- January 17th to January 24th - Prophecy, Legends
- January 24th to January 31st - Grasp of Avarice, Cosmodrome
- January 31st to February 7th - Shattered Throne, Dreaming City
- February 7th to February 14th - Prophecy, Legends
- February 14th to February 21st - Grasp of Avarice, Cosmodrome
- February 21st to February 28th - Pit of Heresy, Moon
The Season of the Seraph is here alongside More than a Weapon, Seraph Key Codes and Resonate Stems and the addition of Rose in Crucible.
You can also complete the Good Boy Protocol secret quest to make a new friend.
We’ve also seen a new dungeon, Spire of the Watcher, with has a chance of Hierarchy of Needs dropping upon completion.
