We’ve begun week 3 of Destiny 2: Season of the Splicer. That means the Override activity is set to take place on Spider’s doorstep on the Tangled Shore. There’s also a different boss this time around. Anyway, here’s our guide to help you with the Tangled Shore Override activity in Destiny 2: Season of the Splicer.

Destiny 2: Season of the Splicer guide — Completing the Override activity in the Tangled Shore and Path of the Splicer III

Before everything else, make sure to interact with the Splicer Servitor in the HELM Command Center to obtain the quest. Then, go ahead and start matchmaking for the Override activity.

This one takes place in the Sorik’s Cut zone, and you’ll be fighting Vex once more. As usual, the mechanics remain the same as what you’ve experienced these past couple of weeks. As usual, you’ll be crossing through the Vex Network once the progress bar reaches 100%.

Tangled Shore Override boss: Thesmotae, Subjugated Mind

Thesmotae, Subjugated Mind, is the boss that you’ll face at the end of the Tangled Shore’s Override activity. This Vex hydra is quite a pushover, and you probably won’t have issues damaging it.

However, there’s a slightly different twist during this fight since there are now walls in the arena itself.

Thesmotae will teleport to an unreachable section whenever you deplete a third of its health bar. As such, your goal is to eliminate the Vex mobs that have appeared, including the Scytale. Taking out the mobs lets you break open the boxes to remove the impenetrable wall. Meanwhile, the Scytale drops a data spike that you can bank inside the nearby conflux.

Continue damaging the boss whenever possible so you can finish the encounter.

When you’re done, return to the Splicer Servitor. You’ll be given the “Codebreaker” Splicer Technique. It’s just a snazzy way of saying that the Expunge weekly missions have been unlocked.

Let’s talk about the Expunge: Labyrinth mission in the Tangled Shore in our next guide for Destiny 2: Season of the Splicer.
