Now that the Destiny 2 Solstice of Heroes event is well underway, many players have completed run after run of the European Aerial Zone (EAZ) in order to upgrade their drained and renewed armor sets to its final stage. One step of the EAZ requires players to run around and find chests, with there being multiple ways to speed up the process such as using a sparrow. That said, the most important detail to find said chests is to know where these chests are located.

There’s nothing wrong with a little trial-and-error when it comes to memorizing these locations, but some chests are harder to find than others. This likely led many on the Destiny 2 subreddit to submit chest locations and creating a map that highlighted every location, evolving from one of just a few points to a detailed map including floor level. When making a run, this map could also be of use for taking the most profitable route.

As seen below, this Destiny 2 EAZ Map is divided into zones, with players taking special note that three chests can be found on outer isles. Then, Factory has 4 chests; Garage, Mall, Ruin, and Town all have 3 chests; and Courtyard has 2. Take special note of the icons in the map below, as a triangle means that the chests are on the second or third floor of a build, whereas a circle is on the ground or first floor. Knowing this small difference will save a lot of time.

This will hopefully go a long way in helping Destiny 2 players complete their armor sets prior to the end of the Solstice of Heroes event, but it’s worth mentioning that the Solstice armor sets can still be masterworked after the event ends. That said, it’s important to take note that the EAZ and elemental orbs won’t be available after August 27, so players will still want to use their time wisely.

Once the Solstice of Heroes event comes to an end, players will be looking forward to the next year of content. More about Destiny 2’s Shadowkeep expansion will premiere at Gamescom, so be sure to stay tuned.

Destiny 2 is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, with a Stadia version also in development.
