Quantic Dream co-CEO Guillaume de Fondaumiere has revealed that Detroit: Become Human has become its ‘most successful release so far.’

He didn’t reveal any sales figures, but did say the game achieved the milestone after just one week.

Detroit: Become Human launched exclusively for PlayStation 4 on May 25, and takes place in the near future where humans have employed androids to carry out everything from crappy menial jobs to high-profile police work.

After week 1, @Detroit_PS4 has been @Quantic_Dream’s most successful release so far, by all accounts. But what gives us the most joy are the incredible fan arts, cosplays, songs etc.. and player reviews. #fortheplayers ! https://t.co/WxZ0bTPRpZ

However, the android population soon begin to exhibit human-like emotions, with Detroit focusing on the actions of three main players: Connor, Kara, and Markus.

Colm wasn’t all that taken with David Cage’s latest narrative-driven effort though, so have a read of his review before you think about plonking down the cash.
