Blizzard Entertainment has announced the Diablo II: Resurrected release date, launching on September 23 on consoles and PC.

A trailer first announced the news during last night’s Xbox and Bethesda showcase, with other formats confirmed soon after. In case you need a quick refresher, the game will see the 2000 action-RPG classic & its Lord of Destruction expansion given a fresh lick of 4K paint & remastered audio.

Quality of life improvements are also on the table, including automated gold pickup and a larger stash. There’s support for 8 player co-op, cross-progression and even the ability to switch between old and new visuals at will.

It was previously revealed that the remaster will also let you import your saves from the original. (If you’re on PC, at least.)

You can check out the latest trailer for yourself below. The Diablo II: Resurrected release date is September 23 on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC.
