The next entry in the long-running Formula One franchise is currently in development and will launch in June, Codemasters has announced (via PST). F1 2019 will arrive on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One. Codemasters isn’t saying much right now in regards to new features, although it will be partnering with F1 – a first for the series after all these years – allowing players to hop into the driver’s seat of a customisable regulation car for the game’s multiplayer....

Wish there were more to explore inside the Oldest House? Now there is. 505 Games and Remedy Entertainment have provided juicy new details about Control‘s first expansion, titled The Foundation. This comes ahead of the DLC’s release on March 26. This new chapter will continue where the main game left off. Jesse Faden, new Director of the Federal Bureau of Control, has discovered a brand new problem waiting to be solved down in the foundations of the Oldest House....

Remedy Entertainment, the Finnish game developer responsible for 2019’s award-winning action-adventure game Control, has confirmed in its latest financial report that three new games are currently in development at the company. As one team at Remedy develops the two previously announced paid expansions for Control, which are expected sometime in 2020, three other teams within the company are focusing on a first-person shooter, a live service title, and a third game whose details are still being kept under wraps....

CD Projekt Red has shown off the Braindance sequence of Cyberpunk 2077, which lets the player play a memory and pause it to analyse for clues. In the Night City Wire presentation, this snippet of gameplay had the character V revisiting a memory formed by someone else. It’s like Life is Strange, or Remember Me, in the way it lets the player flit about in a free-camera or through the person’s eyes to identify clues, and rewinding and pausing as many times as they like....

CD Projekt Red’s dystopian sci-fi role-playing game Cyberpunk 2077 being delayed from April to September has many anxious fans clamoring for more content. Luckily, Reddit user Detricklez has a solution: Making their own Cyberpunk-inspired city in Media Molecule’s robust creation tool Dreams. Detricklez’ first post on Reddit was a face sculpt of a character they built in the soon-to-release Dreams that they would later go on to give “cyberpunk armor.” Ever since that went live in the r/PS4Dreams subreddit, Detricklez has made various updates to that character, and since then they’ve also begun to post progress on an entirely original city they named Altamara....

Microsoft has announced that a pair of new games have joined Xbox One’s rapidly-swelling backwards compatibility offering, with Dante’s Inferno and R.U.S.E. now fully playable on the console. Both titles can be slotted into your Xbox One if you have the original Xbox 360 discs lying around somewhere, or re-downloaded to the system if you have digital versions. Failing that, just grab ’em from the Xbox Store; Dante’s Inferno costs £14....

Developer Kitfox Games has certainly shown it has the talent for range with its games. It allowed you to explore dangerous worlds in Shattered Planet before tasking you to solve murder mysteries in Lucifer Within Us. Now, Kitfox is asking you… to go on a cute date. Days Gone is a long open world game that permits the player to pursue the story at their own pace and on their own time. Even with the advantage of being able to wait to tackle the more difficult missions with the right gear, the game can still be pretty tough, especially in the beginning. Weapons are weak when tackling spongy enemies like ravagers, there are more freakers in the horde then bullets in your inventory, and with so many things to upgrade it’s easy to feel lost when determining what to focus on....

Team Ninja has warned Dead or Alive 5: Last Round players not to play certain lessons in the game’s Tutorial mode while playing in French, German, Spanish or Italian over concerns that it could corrupt save data. The bug affects all platforms while playing Tutorial lessons 40.8 and 40.9, and can lead to the game crashing and save data being wiped. “WARNING: DOA5 Last Round players (All platforms). EA Motive has been showing off how fan feedback is shaping the upcoming Dead Space remake, including its weapon sounds. In a post on Twitter, the Canadian studio posted a short clip to fans of the game’s Plasma Cutter and Pulse Rifle. They’re two of the game’s most recognisable weapons, so naturally fan feedback is very important. The short clip includes the sounds from the original game, last month’s livestream and this week to illustrate the changes made....

Publisher 505 Games has given a date to the PC version of Death Stranding Director’s Cut, with the expanded release arriving March 30. If you’ve not kept up with the game so far, you play as Norman Reedus’ Sam Bridges. He’s roaming what remains of America following an explosive phenomenon known as the Death Stranding. You’ll travel across the wastes to try and reconnect a broken land, all the while delivering packages and connecting people....

Now that the Destiny 2 Solstice of Heroes event is well underway, many players have completed run after run of the European Aerial Zone (EAZ) in order to upgrade their drained and renewed armor sets to its final stage. One step of the EAZ requires players to run around and find chests, with there being multiple ways to speed up the process such as using a sparrow. That said, the most important detail to find said chests is to know where these chests are located....

Destiny 2 will be receiving a boatload of new updates in the coming months in an effort to polish up the divisive shared-world shooter, developer Bungie has announced. Leading the charge will be the return of Faction Rallies and Iron Banner, which launch on January 16 and January 30, respectively. As expected, Crimson Days is officially returning for Valentine’s Day 2018, and will roll out on February 13. During this time, players can earn exclusive loot such as a Legendary Emote and Sparrow by completing Nightfall, Raid, and Crimson Days Milestones....

Bungie keeps announcing W after W for Destiny 2’s upcoming Lightfall DLC. In a new post, they announced a series of economic changes in Season 20, which are amazingly user-friendly. Starting in Season 20, Zavala will join the rest of the Vendors with a focus on Vanguard weapons and armor. However, this list now extends to Nightfall weapons, including their Adept versions. If you’ve previously acquired these weapons before you’ll be able to by them for 1 Vanguard Engram, 10,000 Glimmer, and 50 Legendary Shards....

Things are heating up in Destiny 2 and it’s not just because Season of the Worthy has a massive Cabal flagship headed straight for Earth or because it’s one of the most lackluster DLCs so far. It’s also due to Guardian Games, a springtime event that’s available for all players that’s set to commence next week. Players will finally be able to exchange materials raw materials via The Speaker in Destiny when the House of Wolves DLC launches next months, Bungie has revealed.
