In conjunction with the release of their Curse of Osiris DLC, Bungie have updated Destiny 2 to version 1.1.0. Full patch notes can be found below. It’s a big one, so there are no doubt all sorts of interesting tweaks and changes in here if you’re a regular Destiny 2 player. I’m not, so I can’t really help point much out in that respect. In terms of specific PC changes, Bungie say framerate stuttering with certain SLI set-ups should now be fixed....

A cheat seller being sued by Bungie has launched a remarkable countersuit which claims Bungie hacked it. The claim follows months of legal back and forth between cheat seller AimJunkies and Destiny developer Bungie, which has seen the former accused of both trademark and copyright infringement. AimJunkies has previously attempted to shrug off these claims, but has now gone one further. As reported by Torrentfreak, the cheat seller has now launched a countersuit which alleges Bungie accessed its computers for anti-cheat purposes via “clandestine surveillance” - effectively, that Bungie hacked it....

For the past year, Capcom has been rolling out the original Devil May Cry trilogy on the Nintendo Switch. While fans have disagreed on whether the price of these HD ports has been appropriate or not, the final and most beloved of the original PS2 games, Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition is finally coming to Nintendo’s smash hit console on February 20, 2020. The game’s release coincides with the launch of the Capcom Store in Japan and all its strange Devil May Cry and Monster Hunter tie-in products....

Codemasters has released the latest free content drop for rally racer DiRT 5, with the game getting cross-platform matchmaking as the headline addition in the Red Bull Revolution update from today. As detailed on the game’s official blog, the update adds the cross-platform compatibility on Xbox, PlayStation and PC with Google Stadia promised to be added later. You’ll have to make sure you’ve got cross-platform matchmaking enabled in the settings, but once you do you’ll find your online lobbies populated with racers from other formats, helping to ensure you won’t be spending too much time looking for a race....

An interesting Easter egg was recently discovered in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare connecting the popular online shooter to the now disused Tony Hawk Pro Skater franchise. An Easter egg that, with an understanding of the Tony Hawk franchise’s history and its relationship to Call of Duty, carries with it quite a bit of nostalgia. The Easter egg was apparently found on an “out of place looking dead body” during Modern Warfare’s campaign, showing the logo of Tony Hawk Pro Skater developer Neversoft’s logo as a tattoo....

Dataminers have been hard at work digging around in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare PC beta files, and have found a list of over 55 maps for its multiplayer modes, with some sharing titles with popular maps from previous CoD games (via Game Rant). Call of Duty fans are spending £30 on codes for an in-game Burger King skin. The fast food chain is currently running a promotion where a Call of Duty meal can be bought, offering a free in-game Operator Skin (a t-shirt of the fictional Burger Town) and one hour of double xp for Modern Warfare 2. Codes for these in-game extras are now being sold on eBay, with most sold listings ranging from around £20 to £40 and (amusingly) not always including postage....

New operators being introduced into Warzone is nothing new. The battle royale has introduced several fan-favorite campaign characters since it was first launched. Until today, CD Projekt Red has refrained from confirming that a next-generation version of Cyberpunk 2077 was in development.
