Playing as teenage con-artist Ali, you’re trying to save your Mom’s video store from unscrupulous loan sharks. Promised are plenty of colourful puzzles and dialogue as you travel cross-country. Being a con-artist, you can expect a fair amount of criminal activities in the game. These include sneaking, pickpocketing, disguises and more....

Feral Interactive has announced that its long-awaited iPad port of Relic’s 2006 RTS Company of Heroes will be releasing next month. Currently scheduled for a February 13 release, the game was initially pegged for a 2019 date before getting delayed indefinitely. Whatever setbacks stopped the title from coming out last year, everything has been fixed. You won’t have much longer to wait for this. The producer of Cyberpunk Edgerunners (and CD Projekt Red’s Japan country manager) Satoru Honma has confirmed that the anime is a “standalone work”. In an interview with Famitsu (via VGC), Honma stated that a second season was not in the works. “I personally would like to continue to work with Japanese studios to produce more anime in the future, partly because we have received very good feedback. However, just to be clear, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners was planned as a standalone work, so there’s no such thing as ‘we are actually working on Season 2 in the background’,” he said....

Dead or Alive 6 is getting an online beta exclusively for PlayStation Plus subscribers, Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja have announced. The teaser is going live at 3.00pm GMT today and wraps up on January 14 at 14.59pm GMT. Players will be able to take the Online Versus mode for a spin and pick one of five characters, including Kasumi, Ayane, Hayate, Hayabusa, and newcomer Diego. You’ll get one stage to duke it out on, namely the DOA Colosseum, which features exploding ring ropes....
