The game’s servers was taken offline around 3pm GMT this afternoon for maintenance, and Bungie’s support account tweeted out the announcement that the expansion was available to download about an hour later....
Destiny 2’s More than a Weapon is a quest running throughout Season of the Seraph. Each season, Destiny 2 has a story which updates with new steps each week - requiring you to collect season-specific currency and activities to progress. In Season of the Seraph, this is finding Seraph Key Codes and Resonate Stems, which will in turn allow you to open Seraph Chests and acquire Override Frequencies. If that’s hard to decipher, have no fear....
Developer DICE has announced that it has postponed the first slice of free DLC for Battlefield V. Writing in a post on Twitter (via PST), the studio confirmed that Chapter 1: Overture (sounds a bit like the start of a 1970s progressive rock track to me ; maybe something by Yes, perhaps?) has been delayed due to a technical hiccup. The update is part of the post-launch Tides of War event, which will dish out extra content in the coming months to keep things kicking over....

Digimon Survive on Nintendo Switch Digimon Survive has surprised me in more ways than one. When I picked it up, I was excited for a Digimon game more akin to tactical RPGs like Fire Emblem or Final Fantasy Tactics with some visual novel elements. However, the game is primarily a visual novel with tactical RPG elements on the side, which was exactly what I was expecting. While initially taken aback by the genre type, the brief moment of disappointment I felt was quickly washed away by a delightfully dark story, gorgeous presentation, and loads of fan-favorite Digimon to befriend....
When Bungie announced Destiny, players the world over got hyped. An all-new IP in the age of post-Bungie Halo? Sold! It probably helped that back in 2014, there weren’t a lot of AAA titles for the new console generation, much less one that wasn’t part of a well-known series. Following a period of Xbox Insider testing announced earlier this year, Microsoft has officially launched Discord voice chat support for all Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S users. As of today, anyone on either console will be able to connect directly to Discord Voice chats in order to talk with their friends, wherever they may be. The actual process required to do so, though, is a little convoluted, and first demands that users link their Xbox account to their Discord account - a process that’ll need to be redone if done previously, so new permissions needed for voice chat on Xbox can be confirmed....
The official Call of Duty: Vanguard Twitter account has claimed the new game will have a smaller install size compared to previous releases. According to the tweet, the reason for the smaller footprints are as follows. “New on-demand texture streamer tech expected to save up to 30%-50%+ on next-gen console and PC hard drive disk space.” File sizes of recent Call of Duty games have been a big sticking point of late....
On March 1, Call of Duty Mobile’s Season 3 left in favor of a new season dubbed “Disavowed.” This update offers tons of new content in the form of weapons, Credit Store gear, returning game modes, a new map, and a new battle pass. The two modes reintroduced into the game are Warfare and One Shot, One Kill. However, while these two modes will be returning, Disavowed will remove the Zombies game mode from CoD Mobile for the foreseeable future....
Activision has released the first details for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare‘s Season 4 Reloaded patch, which is highlighted by an update to Warzone‘s Battle Royale Quads mode that raises the max player count to 200. “With this update, Verdansk will now be able to hold up to 200 players in Battle Royale Quads,” says Activision via a blog post. “That means 50 Quads of Operators fighting each other and the encroaching circle collapse....

Conan Chop Chop has been delayed — but for a really good reason. The publisher Funcom confirmed the change earlier today via press release. According to Funcom, developer Mighty Kingdom has been given the go-ahead to include a requested feature: online multiplayer. The delay will push Conan Chop Chop into an early 2020 release. Initially, Conan Chop Chop didn’t have online multiplayer. The hack-and-slash game set in the Conan universe with sentient potato people included only couch co-op....

Smilegate Entertainment has announced that it is delaying the release of free-to-play multiplayer shooter CrossfireX into next year. A message posted to the game’s official Twitter account for the game by Smilegate Entetainment reads that “After much deliberation, and in consideration of the challenges faced by the Smilegate development team due to COVID-19, we have made the difficult decision to delay the release of CrossfireX to 2021.” The timed Xbox exclusive—originally set for release this year—will have a campaign by Control and Alan Wake developers Remedy, which will be available through a Premium Battle Pass once the game launches on console....
