Good news for fans of Devil May Cry 5, as Capcom has announced that it’s bringing series regular Bloody Tower mode to the latest iteration of the stylish slasher. Making the announcement via Tweet, the developer revealed the mode – which usually pits the player against waves of increasingly tougher enemies and bosses from the main game in a tower-structured format – will be free to all existing owners of the game....

Sony has lifted the veil on the PlayStation Now lineup for January, and it’s pretty solid stuff. There’s 10 new game coming to the service in total this month, which means there’s now an eyeball-popping 600+ titles available on PS Now. There’s some solid additions joining the ranks too, including DiRT 4 and the remastered Metro 2033, otherwise known as Metro 2033 Redux. It’s pretty good timing for Metro, seeing as how the next entry in the chilly horror franchise is just around the corner and comes with a Photo Mode on day one....
Last week, Infinity Ward teased a new update coming to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare this week. It’s now been confirmed that the new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare update is coming on January 22, and while full patch notes aren’t available at the time of this writing, it sounds like the update will please the MW community. Call of Duty Warzone will now give all PC players God Mode if it detects a cheating player in the lobby. As detailed in a new post on the game’s official blog, the anti-cheat team had been testing a mitigation technique called “Damage Shield”, which disables the cheater’s ability to inflict critical damage on other players - and now it’s been globally deployed. “This mitigation leaves the cheater vulnerable to real players and allows #TeamRICOCHET to collect information about a cheater’s system,” the post explains....
Modern Warfare 2 will be getting raids post launch, Activision has confirmed. The news was announced on stage by franchise director Patrick Kelley during the COD Next last month. We got some further details in the Call of Duty blog, revealing they’ll debut in Modern Warfare 2 “later this year after launch”. These raids will involve three players, we’re told – and will require teamwork from all three members of the squad....
Management at CD Projekt Red has come under fire after it emerged that the developer will be enforcing a mandatory crunch period in the final few weeks leading up to Cyberpunk 2077’s release. The report comes from a paywalled article on Bloomberg, (spotted by GamesIndustry.biz) who claim to have been forwarded by an anonymous source an internal email from studio head Adam Badowski asking employees to complete “your typical amount of work and one day of the weekend” — although the extra work will be paid as per Polish labour laws....
Micro Machines World Series, a new entry in the hugely popular miniature vehicle racing game series, will be released this April at retail for PS4, Xbox One and PC, Codemasters and publisher Deep Silver have announced.
