Over the weekend, a leak with potential details of the next Tomb Raider game made its way around the internet. These details came from an audition script for a role in the game, and told of Lara Croft leading a team of younger tomb raiders as she deals with the isolation of success. Now, Tomb Raider developer Crystal Dynamics has issued a DMCA takedown notice to the Sacred Symbols Patreon, which leaked the audition script in question - and in doing so pretty much verified the details as accurate....

Last month Blizzard confirmed that the anniversary event The Darkening of Tristram would be returning to Diablo 3 this year and the dates have now been set. The Darkening of Tristram takes Diablo 3 players on a nostalgic Diablo 1 trip through the Cathedral with retro graphics and audio. A new investigation into Diablo 4’s development has painted a picture of chaos and mismanagement at Activision Blizzard, reportedly resulting in a dash to meet a release date - said to be 6th June next year - that staff believe is “unlikely” to be met without “many hours of overtime or cut features”. Today Sega and Relic Entertainment announced the release date of the upcoming RTS game Company of Heroes 3. The game will launch on PC via Steam on November 17, 2022, with pre-orders available today. We also get the reveal of the North Africa campaign, which is a more traditional and narrative-driven experienced compared to the previously announced Italian Dynamic Campaign, which offers a branching, open-ended experience. Riot Games made a big appearance at The Game Awards last night, joining the myriad of developers and producers that announced new titles coming after 2019. During the show, the studio revealed a new title set in the League of Legends universe called Convergence: A League of Legends Story. Under its new initiative called Riot Forge, Riot Games has been collaborating with third-party developers on a number of titles. Along with Ruined King: A League of Legends Story, also announced last night, Convergence: A League of Legends Story is part of this initiative....
