A rating for Castlevania: Advance Collection has appeared in Korea, and it seems to be heading for the PC. A non-profit school in China dedicated to helping underprivileged children has pledged $20,000 to Shenmue 3’s Kickstarter to help raise awareness of its organisation. The Volunteer English Teacher Program, which helps teach children from small villages and orphanages how to speak English – initially offered $10,000 to have dinner with creator Yu Suzuki. But following “an amazing amount of attention in China”, it has pledged a further $10,000 to have one of its teachers appear as an NPC in the game....

In 1998, Codemasters was apparently working on a James Bond game, according to a former developer who co-designed the project. Ratings for Company of Heroes 3 on Xbox and PlayStation have been listed on the official Taiwanese ratings board, suggesting the game will also be released on console. A PC release has already been officially confirmed and was originally due out yesterday, but last month publisher Sega announced the game would be delayed until February 2023. The game’s ratings can be found by using the search term “英雄連隊”, the title’s translation into Chinese....

Today’s contest features Steam copies of creation game Trailmakers. Games where you can create your own fun sound great on paper, but whew I’m the least creative person on Earth. Arts and crafts were always a disaster for me, and without the instruction manual a box of LEGO is totally worthless to me. I’m ok with words, I guess, but the visual arts elude me.
