Deep Rock Galactic studio Ghost Ship Games released a narrative trailer today showing off a new seasonal event, weapons, and more coming with the second season of content for the game starting later this month. The season will add a new event where players will have to hack robotic equipment to shut it down before it explodes alongside a new major enemy called the Nemesis. It is a giant robot with extendable claws that will pick up the dwarven characters and toss them aside....

Devil’s Third, which launched in the UK back on August 28 and in the US more recently in December, will have its online servers closed on December 29, 2016. In addition, sale of the game’s Golden Eggs will be discontinued on June 27. As a result of the game’s upcoming online component closure Nintendo confirmed an immediate price drop from £49.99 to £24.99. “We are deeply thankful to all the players who have enjoyed this title’s online multiplayer service, and thank you for your understanding regarding this decision,” reads the Nintendo support post....

Blizzard Entertainment has announced the Diablo II: Resurrected release date, launching on September 23 on consoles and PC. A trailer first announced the news during last night’s Xbox and Bethesda showcase, with other formats confirmed soon after. In case you need a quick refresher, the game will see the 2000 action-RPG classic & its Lord of Destruction expansion given a fresh lick of 4K paint & remastered audio. Reports are abound that this year’s Call of Duty will see the shooter series return to World War 2 and be named Call of Duty: Vanguard. These reports originated from Call of Duty news website Modern Warzone, who’s sources claim that the game will be made by Sledgehammer Games—previously the lead developers on 2017’s entry, the similarly-themed Call of Duty: WWII. These reports have since apparently been seconded by Eurogamer, who’s own sources indicate that Activision is planning to stick with the Vanguard title that was previously thought to be a placeholder....

Isometric racers have often gotten overlooked by me, despite the fact that I love the racing genre as a whole. I’ve just always found the top-down perspective to be a little awkward.
