Following its very public split with Activision, Bungie has already made waves with its announcements and plans for where it’s taking the Destiny franchise. In addition to a free to play version and cross saving being added, the studio’s biggest announcement was the upcoming Destiny 2 expansion, Shadowkeep. The first expansion to be solely created by Bungie, it takes players back to the Moon to fight a growing Hive menace. However, the Moon has seemingly evolved from what players previously experience in the previous game....

The Vex Offensive’s Final Assault has arrived in Destiny 2, and everyone is finding it pretty underwhelming to be perfectly honest. The Undying Mind was first seen in Destiny 1 as a final boss against the Vex. Well, one of many–you see, The Undying Mind isn’t just a single entity. As a time-traveling, dimension-hopping robot, there are actually many copies of The Undying Mind hidden throughout the Vex network. With Call of Duty: Modern Warfare just under two months from release, fear is growing among fans that their realistic military shooter fun will be affected by the presence of loot boxes and microtransactions. Capcom’s recent 2019 Integrated Report has stated that, based on the success of Resident Evil 2 Remake and Devil May Cry 5, it should “awaken dormant intellectual properties.” In other words, Capcom appears to be looking at further remakes going forward, which would also fit Capcom’s sentiments last year when it told investors it would look more closely at building success on older game properties and IPs of Capcom. Excellent scrolling beat-’em-up Castle Crashers looks set to make the jump to PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch, according to a teaser from developer The Behemoth. The studio’s Twitter posts (via PST) paint a pretty clear picture, featuring DualShock and Switch controllers alongside mention of a Tuesday announcement. Considering Castle Crashers is currently on Xbox One, it makes sense that The Behemoth would want to complete the current-gen set and bring them to Sony and Nintendo’s format....

HTC Vive users get ready to wield a virtual lightsaber in Star Wars: Trials on Tatooine, a new VR experience developed by LucasFilm’s ILMxLab. Described by RoadToVR as a 10 minute experience rather than a full game, Trials of Tatooine tasks players with fending off Stormtroopers and their blaster fire. The trailer below also shows a brief appearance by R2-D2 and the Millennium Falcon. Cobra Kai is sweeping the leg of exclusivity to YouTube, now set to seek a new platform. In a surprising development as news remains dry on the long-awaited third season of Cobra Kai, the series—the undisputed showcase scripted attraction of YouTube’s premium subscription service—is exiting the platform, with production company Sony Pictures Television now fielding offers from prospective new platforms, according to Deadline. YouTube officially ordered Cobra Kai Season 3 back in April 2019 with full intention to host the new frame....
