Greg Goodrich, Executive Producer at Danger Close, has confirmed that his studio is in fact developing a follow up to 2010’s Medal of Honor reboot. Interestingly, the new game is not currently being referred to as a direct sequel to last Fall’s title, but merely as “the next Medal of Honor.” The last addition to the military-themed shooter series that started them all earned generally middling reviews, and was quickly forgotten in the wake of Call of Duty: Black Ops....

Epic Games and Marvel revealed today that more heroes will cross over into Fortnite soon, and Daredevil is the first. The circumstances for acquiring the new skin will be a little different from the norm, however. Epic detailed its latest tournament offerings, which will revolve around a new mode called Marvel Knockout Super series. Daredevil will host the first cup in the series, and as a prize, the winners will be able to earn the skin before anyone else....

As part of the weekly update, Bungie launched the legendary Nightmare Hunts for Destiny 2: Shadowkeep players. This newest difficulty starts at power level 950 and features six modifiers to further increase the challenge. However, the added content has also unlocked a new Essence quest for players to chase as well. The Essence of Servitude legendary quest can be found through a variety of methods on the Moon such as finishing lost sectors, opening treasure chests and more....

Since the release of Destiny 2’s Shadowkeep, Bungie’s shared-world shooter has been building towards what fans hope is a significant change in the narrative. With the discovery of the pyramid ships on the moon, Bungie made clear that a showdown is looming and a new datamined piece of dialogue further reinforces that. Destiny 2’s massive Shadowkeep expansion is bringing a lot of great changes to the popular sci-fi shooter this Fall. During today’s Armor 2.0 demonstration, Bungie showcased the massive overhaul coming to the armor system with Shadowkeep. During the livestream, the new armor mod system was highlighted. Currently, armor rolls with perks as well as an empty mod slot that players can customize. With Armor 2.0, perks are being replaced by more mod slots that can be changed on-the-fly, and many of the perks currently found on armor will be converted into mods....

Destiny 2 has officially kicked off Season 3 of the shared-world shooter, with update 1.2.0 and the all-new Warmind expansion now available to tuck into. This is a pretty major milestone for the alien-shooting spectacle, as the patch introduces a number of key sandbox changes. That’s basically a fancy term for Bungie tweaking a bunch of stats for weapons and abilities, as well splattering a few bugs regarding Destiny 2’s Raid and Strikes....

Destiny 2 will launch September 8 for PS4, Xbox One and PC, Activision and Bungie have announced. The new Rally the Troops official Destiny 2 reveal trailer provides a “character-driven glimpse at Destiny 2’s story,” and will be followed by a full gameplay reveal livestream on May 18. “Destiny was the biggest launch of a new console video game franchise ever. Along with our incredibly talented partners at Bungie, we are focusing on making Destiny 2 even better, with state of the art first person action, an awesome new story, great characters, and thoughtful innovations that make the game more accessible to all different kinds of players,” said Activision CEO, Eric Hirshberg....

Burger Town is the Call of Duty franchise-equivalent to the fast food restaurant Burger King, with its logo a clear parody of the Burger King logo. The first of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s two Beta Test Weekends started yesterday, yet already players aren’t happy with a noticeable change from past games. This is due to the current beta effectively not including a mini-map. In the wake of that discovery, developers at Infinity Ward have come forward to discuss the change. The mini-map has long been a key feature for Call of Duty players, a pivotal tool that has enabled them to be mindful of their surroundings, their teammates, and their enemies while maintaining the high speed of action that the series is known for....

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Update 1.12 added a variety of new content for fans of the popular first-person shooter to try, including fan favorite maps like Call of Duty 4’s Shipment, the Cranked game mode, and more. Modern Warfare Update 1.12 also included a new version of the Docks Gunfight map called Winter Docks, giving the map a festive makeover and adding a variety of holiday-themed easter eggs.
