Last Thursday, a quirky new Metroidvania titled Moo Lander dropped on PC. Developed by The Sixth Hammer, Moo Lander sees players fighting against dangerous cows in a mysterious alien world. The first Iron Banner of Destiny 2’s Season 8 is now live, and players will need to undergo a quest to unlock the armor for the event. This is a new iteration of the Iron Banner quest similar to one that was in Season 7, where the way to get armor from the event was only by first completing different steps of the Iron Banner quest. However, unlike last season’s quest, players can make progress on the main objectives on the questline even if they have not hit a particular step yet with any progress being counted retroactively once it is reached....

Bungie has announced that the loot caps for the Leviathan, Scourge of the Past, and Crown of Sorrow raids have been removed as a result of the Moments of Triumph event. This is big. This is momentous and triumphant. At any other time, Destiny 2 players are only able to acquire rewards from a given raid once a week. This is a conscious choice to stop people from farming these items and to help casual players integrate with the hardcore players....
When the Solstice of Heroes event began, players found one particular requirement for upgrading their event armor somewhat daunting—defeating 100 minibosses in the European Aerial Zone. Even so much so, that players quickly found a way to defeat all 100 in one EAZ run. As it turns out, the game’s developer, Bungie, agrees that taking out 100 minibosses was a little too much to ask. Bungie announced in its weekly blog that it will be reducing the required amount of EAZ miniboss kills by half in a patch coming next week to Destiny 2, bringing the total to 50 instead of 100....
It’s pretty safe to say that Destiny has been a runaway success for publisher Activision. But whilst sales figures for the sci-fi shooter haven’t been released, Activision revealed last night that the game has already racked up over 16 million registered users who are playing for an average of three hours each day. “Along with our partners at Bungie, we broke industry records as Destiny became the biggest new intellectual property launch in video game history, and was the third biggest new release of the year in North America and Europe combined,” said Eric Hirshberg, chief executive officer of Activision Publishing....
