CD Projekt RED has confirmed that Cyberpunk 2077 is in playtesting and that the game has been submitted to age rating boards around the world. The developer had delayed the Cyberpunk 2077 release date from April to September, but this suggests that the game is unlikely to be delayed again. On Twitter, CD Projekt RED boss Adam Badowski revealed that the developer has sent Cyberpunk 2077 to be age rated at boards such as the ESRB and PEGI....
XSEED Games has announced that Daemon X Machina, its high-adrenaline mech action game, is headed to PC. Originally a Nintendo Switch exclusive, the game will make its PC debut via Steam on February 13. As to be expected, those who purchase the game before its release date will receive a few pre-order bonuses. One such bonus includes a Metallic Weapon Set, which brings five unique weapons that are only available during the pre-purchase period....
Lethal VR, the second game from Dangerous Golf developer Three Fields Entertainment, will release on PlayStation VR next Tuesday, December 20, publisher Team 17 has announced. The VR-cade shooter tasks players with completing challenges using a variety of different weapons as they step into the boots of an FBI agent in-training. It originally launched for HTC Vive last month. The game will be available on PlayStation Store for £9.99, with a 20% launch discount available for a limited time....

Classic LucasArts adventures Grim Fandango Remastered, Day of the Tentacle Remastered and Full Throttle Remastered are all finally heading to Xbox and will be available on both console and PC via Xbox Game Pass later this month. The news was revealed by Double Fine boss Tim Schafer speaking to Major Nelson on his podcast at the weekend and confirmed that all three titles—given the remaster treatment by Double Fine Productions— will naturally be their full remasters by Double Fine Productions, meaning they’ll have all the extra bells and whistles such as modern resolution support, new control schemes and more....
Submachine guns have just about always had a pretty decent time-to-kill (TTK) in Destiny 2’s Crucible, but, due to a combination of them being (usually) difficult to control and the other weapons that excel in the same range as them being generally pretty easy to use, submachine guns haven’t always been very popular. With a little extra time between now and the launch of Destiny 2: Shadowkeep, developer Bungie is doing its best to keep players busy. Bungie has moved to apologise for Destiny 2’s recent botched Faction Rally event, after the studio failed to make it clear that new Season Two gear would not roll out immediately and is instead going to be a staggered affair. Writing in its weekly blog update, the former Halo developer first touched on the previous Faction Rally event, which was bugged so that Guardians could rake in heaps of Faction tokens without really doing much of anything....
Activision Blizzard confirmed during an investors call overnight that a ‘major expansion’ will be coming to Destiny 2 in late 2018. No further details are known at this point, but the publishing giant has already revealed that the game’s second expansion is out in May, so this is presumably the follow-up. Destiny 2’s first expansion, Curse of Osiris, came out in early December last year and added a bunch of new distractions for the Engram-farming shooter, including Heroic Strikes and a brand new story line centring on the titular Warlock....

Blizzard Entertainment has detailed when players will be able to get their first hands on remaster Diablo: II Resurrected in the game’s open beta later this month. Those who have pre-ordered the game will, naturally, get first dibs in the Early Access portion of the test. That’ll kick off from August 13 at 6pm UK time. Then, between August 20 and August 23 anyone else will be able to get their hands on some demon-slaying action, again from 6pm UK time....
