The Destiny 1 era will come to a close with the release of Age of Triumph, the final live update for the game. Bungie will be showcasing what’s on offer via three livestreams, the first of which is taking place tomorrow at 6pm GMT. The stream will feature Lead Designer, Ryan Paradis, and Sr. Raid Designer, Joe Blackburn. A teaser trailer for Rise of Triumph has also revealed that players will be returning to the Vault of Glass, once again coming up against Atheon....

This week, Destiny 2 entered its 10th season which now shifts the focus back to Mars and on the Warmind Rasputin. In Season of the Worthy, the Cabal are once again attempting to strike back at humanity by crashing their planet destroying ship, The Almighty, into the Tower and Last City. Core members of the Disco Elysium team were “fired under false premises”, Martin Luiga has claimed in a new interview. Luiga, one of the co-founders of the studio ZA/UM, originally stated the three leads had left “involuntarily”. Designer Robert Kurvitz, one of the developers affected, later confirmed that he, along with writer Helen Hindpere and art director Aleksander Rostov, was no longer working at the studio. In a short interview with GamePressure, Luiga revealed more about the background of the studio and the events leading up to the trio’s removal....

Infinity Ward is putting its foot down regarding one of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s most controversial changes. Call of Duty fans, or more specifically esports players and streamers, have been pushing Infinity Ward to revert changes made to the traditional Call of Duty minimap since Modern Warfare’s beta. According to new details stemming from an Infinity Ward event where the studio hosted a number of content creators, the minimap is going to stay the way it is....

Activision Blizzard is offering two whole weeks of free Call of Duty: Vanguard multiplayer for everyone from tomorrow. As detailed on the Call of Duty blog, the free fortnight will run from March 30 until April 13, 2022. In that time, anyone will be able to try almost the entire multiplayer portion of the game for no charge. It’s the longest free period the Call of Duty series has ever offered, and includes the recent Season Two Reloaded content....

Activision has announced Call of Duty XP, a new Call of Duty convention taking place September 2-3 in LA. The two-day event will be home to more than 6,000 fans who will see the world premiere of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer and be able to take part in a range of events and activities. “Call of Duty XP is the ultimate Call of Duty event for fans of all levels,” said Activision....
