Bungie has announced it’ll be removing Destiny 2‘s Forsaken campaign and sending it to the Vault early next year. Bungie say that the reason for the move is to make room for the game’s upcoming The Witch Queen expansion. The studio will vault the The Tangled Shore destination too, along with Year 4 Seasonal content. They are “investigating ways to reprise and create new exciting Exotic special missions within Destiny 2 for the future”....

The pilot episode of a scrapped Kingdom Hearts animated series has been uploaded to YouTube by its proposed director. The series was set to be directed and developed by Seth Kearsley, whose other credits include Eight Crazy Nights and The Looney Tunes Show. In 2002, the same year as the release of the original Kingdom Hearts game, Kearsley was hired by Disney TV for the series. Although the pilot tested “exceptionally well”, it was canned due to Square Enix’s future plans for “many more games” in the series....

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season One is set to conclude on February 11, 2020, after having gotten a slight extension from Infinity Ward. Nothing official about what Modern Warfare Season Two will entail has been announced so far, but some information may have leaked online. This information comes from TheGamingRevolution YouTube channel, who has been largely accurate about Call of Duty leaks in the past. However, TheGamingRevolution has also been inaccurate about some Modern Warfare leaks, so fans shouldn’t take these claims as gospel....

Evidence suggests that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (no, not that one…the new one) will soon be getting a battle royale mode. Said evidence is based on a series of official hints, speculation, and reported datamining. It really started with the recent (massive) Call of Duty: Modern Warfare update which seems to have added a new section to game’s main menu which is currently obscured by the word “CLASSIFIED.” It would appear that this section is related to a new game mode....

Today Capcom opened a teaser website with a seven-day countdown, teasing a reveal of some kind. The countdown is expected to expire on February 21 at 1:00 AM EST or 6:00 AM GMT depending on where you live. At the moment, there are absolutely no hints to the nature of the announcement, but it’s very likely that it’s about a new game, unless Capcom is trolling us all. There are certainly plenty of possibility, including a new Street Fighter game since Street Fighter V has comcluded its last season....

The Chainsaw Man Anime has received a new key visual, and it’s paired with some good news for those eagerly awaiting new snippets of content. In a post to the series’ official website, a new key visual was revealed as the backdrop for the site. Though it doesn’t show much aside from Denji in his Chainsaw Man transformation, it does feature an impressive amount of detail and a landscape littered with chunks of concrete and other debris....

For a good chunk of the year now, GIANTS Software has been teasing its big upcoming project Farming Simulator 19. The heat has been turned up even higher with the latest move from the dev team: a release of the first in-game footage. It’s a small snippet, but it’s still rather exciting due to the game having never been shown off in motion before now. And, if you’re a fan of John Deere (which is officially coming to the series for the first time ever)....

Circuit Superstars drove its way onto Steam’s Early Access in March of this year. Along the way, it netted hundreds of positive reviews. It’s not publisher Square Enix’s only game currently using the program, either, as Powerwash Simulator is also in Early Access. Circuit Superstars’ Steam page mentions that the devs had the game’s release written on a whiteboard, but due to uncertainty, all they said was that the game would release in full in six to 12 months....

Cocoon is an upcoming puzzle-adventure game, with an insectoid edge, from Jeppe Carlsen, the lead gameplay designer of Limbo and Inside. Check out the reveal trailer for the game below: The description reads: “From Jeppe Carlsen, the lead gameplay designer of Limbo and Inside—Cocoon takes you on an adventure across worlds within worlds. Master world-leaping mechanics to unravel a cosmic mystery.” As you can see, the game seems to have a leaning toward puzzles and exploration....

GameStop executive vice president for merchandising and marketing Tony Bartel believes Activision’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will be the biggest entertainment launch of all time, with the video games chain having already taken more pre-orders for the title than any game that has come before. “By all indicators, we anticipate Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will be the biggest entertainment launch of all time,” said Bartel. “As of today, the number of pre-order reservations we’ve taken for the game is the highest for any title we’ve ever sold in our 6,200 store network....

Since its release in 2005, fans have been clamoring for a sequel to the fantastic first-person shooter TimeSplitters: Future Perfect. Darkseid is coming to HBO Max’s Justice League Snyder Cut, as revealed by Zack Snyder himself. Sony’s latest exclusive, Days Gone, has beaten Mortal Kombat 11 on the UK boxed games charts by a comfortable margin to snatch the No. 1 spot this weekend. The game, which launched on April 26, was one of the more anticipated releases ahead of its drop - and it shows, given that it has been the most sought after new release in the UK at the moment. Days Gone is still behind the last Sony exclusive, God of War, in the launch week physical sales category, as the number of copies sold is 27 percent lower than that of the Santa Monica Studios title....
