CD Projekt Red has announced that Cyberpunk 2077 will be delayed until September 17, 2020 (via CD Projekt Red). Crunch is a serious issue for the industry, and it occurs when projects exceed their scope for the time there is available before the game must be shipped. The stress that staff endure leads to mental and physical health problems, and it’s something that happens at all scales of studio, unfortunately. Dambuster Studio’s vision for Homefront: The Revolution was to create an “open world Half-Life”, game director Hasit Zala has said, with the studio ignoring much of the original game’s direction to focus on its lofty ambitions for the sequel. Speaking about the game’s difficult time in development with Trusted Reviews, Zala explained: “The vision was to do an open world Half-Life. That’s what we set out to do.” He continued: “When we first pitched it to the studio, they were very excited, and then about two weeks afterwards they went ‘oh my god this means an awful lot of work and a lot of challenge and ambition’....
Wizards of the Coast has announced Dark Alliance, an action RPG at in the Dungeons and Dragons’ Forgotten Realms universe, will launch for consoles and PC this summer. With the action taking place from a third-person perspective, “real time dombat and dynamic co-op gameplay” are promised for one-to-four players, and will see you go up against such famous foes from the world of D&D such as Frost Giants, Beholders, White Dragons and more across the frozen lands of Icewind Dale as you search for the frozen shard....
The co-op action RPG Dauntless from Phoenix Labs has finally entered open beta today. The game is now available to download from the Dauntless website and you can join the action hunting down monsters, crafting weapons and other tools to aid the slaying. Ghost Ship Games, the developer of Deep Rock Galactic, and Mod.io have combined their powers to bring mod support to the co-op FPS dwarven mining and massacring game. According to the roadmap revealed by the developer earlier this year, mod support was supposed to release with Update 34. Ghost Ship is calling this Update 34.5. So, technically, it’s still on time. Either way, this is amazing news for Deep Rock Galactic fans....
Destiny 2: Shadowkeep is in full swing. With the Garden of Salvation raid and Vex Invasion event launching this Saturday, lots of Guardians are grinding and leveling up to get ready for the endgame. Funnily enough, there’s an exploit/glitch that can truly help you out as you go beyond the 900 power level soft cap. It involves the Reckoning and, for some reason, it only benefits your Titan alts. Note 1: Since the exploit immensely helps out Titans, this can be a hassle if you already leveled up your Titan first....

Not every exotic weapon or armor piece in Destiny 2 was created equal, and many are left to gather dust in player vaults since there are many better options in the game. One such exotic is the Sunshot hand cannon. Sunshot is one of the game’s most unique weapons, as it fires explosive rounds and causes enemies to explode in a blast of fire when defeated with this gun.
