Today is the day that finally, after years of development work, CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077 has gone gold. The massive open world RPG was announced way back in 2012, a full three years before The Witcher 3 launched from the same studio. For anyone who doesn’t know, this means the base version of the game is now complete, and ready to be pressed onto discs. Of course, in the modern world, that’s by no means finished....
CD Projekt Red has announced that episode 4 of the Cyberpunk 2077 preview series called Night City Wire will air on October 15. The ongoing series from the Polish developer has offered more insight on its upcoming RPG to prepare players for launch. In addition to Night City Wire, there have been TV ads, gameplay snippets, and narrative trailers. Episode 4 lands at 12 PM ET on October 15, and the developer has already teased us with what to expect....

The Nintendo Switch version of Dark Souls Remastered has been delayed until summer 2018, Bandai Namco Games has announced. The spruced up edition of From Software’s death simulator was originally due to launch on May 25 across all platforms. However, while the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions are still on track for that date, Switch owners will have to wait a bit longer to die all over again. As expected, this also means that the Solaire of Astora amiibo has been pushed back to the same time frame as Dark Souls Remastered on Switch....
Nintendo has been much better about third-party support this console generation, but that doesn’t mean that every game will have a perfect transition to the Switch. Deadly Premonition Origins users have been experiencing pretty severe audio issues, with missing sound effects and dialogue plaguing the port. Luckily, a patch is on the way, which should help clear up the issues. Deadly Premonition series creator Hidetaka “Swery” Suehiro took to Twitter to assuage some fans’ concerns about the port, apologizing for its poor quality and assuring players that the publisher, Toybox, was working quickly to resolve the issues and that a patch should be announced soon....
Last Wednesday, Death Stranding patch 1.08 went live, and the official patch notes revealed only that the update brought “various performance fixes” to Hideo Kojima’s divisive new title. However, fans have discovered that update 1.08 does a little more than is indicated in the notes, adding a somewhat surprising bit of Christmas spirit to the post-apocalyptic world of Death Stranding. Specifically, players that have updated Death Stranding to version 1.08 will find that many Bridges staff members are now wearing Santa hats....

Every class in an RPG brings something special to the table. In Demon’s Souls, there are ten classes to choose from, each with unique starting stats and equipment. The Royal class is often pinned by fans as the “easiest starting class,” due to the excellent starting stats, including the lowest soul level, and an emphasis on magic and spells. Although Demon’s Souls is by no means an easy game, picking the right class to best fit the individual player’s preferred gameplay style is a must if gamers want to ensure they aren’t excessively dying or running into frustrating boss fights....
Update (05/18): Almost a week since it went live, “The Lie” task to have 9 million characters completing Seraph Towers is finally done. Destiny 2 players are one step closer to completing the Felwinter’s Lie quest. Sadly, the final part, “Warmind Heuristics,” seems to be bugged. After getting shotgun kills and visiting Rasputin’s bunker on the moon, you’re supposed to start a mission. Instead, many players are being spawned next to Eris Morn in a “bugged state....
Destiny 2: Shadowkeep is adding a new mechanic to its gunplay and enemies known as Barrier, Unstoppable, and Overload. Destiny series developer Bungie provides an update on Destiny 3, but fans probably won’t like what it has to say. Fans have been expecting some sort of official Destiny 3 update for a while as the game’s story and gameplay details leaked online back in 2018.
