Bungie says that the bug preventing players from getting Izanagi’s Burden is finally going to be patched next week. Players have known that the Forges have been a bit buggy since Shadowkeep released, but the quest to get Izanagi’s Burden was simply impossible. Even if you managed to get through hours of quest steps and past a buggy Forge, Ada-1 has another bug that simply prevents her from handing out the Key Mold necessary to continue the quest....

Destiny 2: Lightfall is the latest chapter in Bungie’s popular FPS title following the release of The Witch Queen. A release trailer was announced during The Game Awards 2022 which gave its devoted community a sneak peek on what to expect once it launches. Another trailer has now also been released depicting a new locale called Neomuna. During the latter part of both videos, the official release date for this next campaign was also displayed....

Well, that was quick. Not even being out for a full week, the Microsoft Kinect has already been hacked. The speedy hacking skills were most likely motivated by the $2,000 bounty put out by Adafruit, an open-source hardware developer. Fresh details of the legal battle between Disco Elyisum creatives and their former bosses have emerged, as part of a hearing held in an Estonian court. To no one’s surprise, Activision has officially confirmed that a new Call of Duty game is in development and is due to be released later this year. Outside of that confirmation, very few details have been revealed about Call of Duty 2020, as Activision has yet to announce which developer is behind the project or which platforms it will be released on. If rumors are to be believed, the publisher is keeping tight-lipped for now due to ongoing issues with development, and with a console generation transition on the horizon, the 10-year anniversary of a beloved Call of Duty game could be their way of smoothing things over....

Ticket sales for the Call of Duty and Overwatch leagues are selling at a very reasonable rate, according to Adam Stern of the Sports Business Journal. Stern notes that both leagues have experienced “largely positive” ticket sales and, as the franchises are still in the early stages, sales could continue to go up as homestands approach. Per the reports, some teams are doing better than others and the better-performing ones are said to be those involving experienced esports veterans who are well versed in event production....

A brand new trailer for Final Fantasy Explorers on Nintendo 3DS has been released by Square Enix. The trailer showcases some of the classic Final Fantasy characters featured in the new game, including Cloud, Yuna and Lightning, each boasting a unique set of skills and abilities. Check out all the playable characters in the graphic above. Final Fantasy Explorers launches for 3DS on January 29. A Collector’s Edition, which contains a branded Nintendo 3DS hard case, 40-page art book, a 20-track music CD as well as a selection of unlockable in-game quests and weapons, will be available in limited quantities via the Square Enix Online store....

Conan Exiles is a game that has done surprisingly well where many other ’80s action franchises have not. Perhaps it is because of the developer’s design approach to the popular survival game genre. Maybe the Conan franchise serves as an ideal theme as well. It’s likely a combination of both, but Funcom clearly needs to keep up what it’s doing, as the game is a blast to play and looks gorgeous....

Nintendo has held its final Partner Showcase of the year, and during the broadcast has announced a Cloud Version of Remedy’s Control for the Nintendo Switch, and it’s available right now. Featuring the supernatural adventure’s Ultimate Edition release that also includes both expansions—The Foundation and AWE—in the package, the game is brought to the console via a new “Cloud Version”. It does mean you’ll need a stable, consistent connection as you play, but the Nintendo eShop offers a free client download that lets you test out a limited timed portion of the game before you buy it, so you can check how well it works with your connection....
