It has been a busy week for fans of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare as the game released Season 2, a free update that brought with it a ton of new content. The latest season brought back fan favorite map Rust, which was last seen in 2009 inside of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Simon “Ghost” Riley has also joined the playable roster of operators, a new Battle Pass has also been activated, and there’s a new Call of Duty League Ruleset Playlist to pick from as well....

Sega has announced console versions of Company of Heroes 3, which will launch for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S later in 2023. It’s the first time the Company of Heroes series will have ever been available on console - although when exactly these new versions will arrive is still to be confirmed. Company of Heroes 3 will launch for PC on 23rd February. Tonight, Sega said to expect its PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions later down the line - with exact timing to be revealed next year....

Konami’s Dance Dance Revolution is getting the movie treatment, courtesy of Greg Silverman’s Stampede (via Variety). The company will be teaming up with Branded Entertainment’s J. Todd Harris and Marc Marcum for the film, which revolves around saving the world from destruction by uniting via the universal power of dance. I guess they had to make it work somehow; the games aren’t exactly known for their story, after all. That’s pretty much all there is to know about the Dance Dance Revolution movie right now, although the project its obviously only in its infancy....

During the celebrations for EVO 2022, the development team at A Few Rounds Games revealed a new video of its fighting game Umbral Core. The game is a dark fantasy 2.5D fighting game created by a new indie team and looks very promising. Motion Twin has announced that the next DLC for roguelike metroidvania Dead Cells entitled The Queen and the Sea will drop in the first week of January. Billed as the most ambitious update yet, the package includes two brand new biomes. The Infested Shipwreck, as the name implies, features a haunted shipwreck full of eldritch horrors to slay. The Lighthouse biome, meanwhile, challenges players to think vertically and quickly as they have to outrun flames chasing them to the peak of a large tower....
