Dead or Alive 6 developer Team Ninja has revealed that Bass, Tina, and Mila will all be playable in the upcoming fighting game sequel. Bass is a towering professional wrestler capable of overwhelming his opponents using brute strength and grappling. Unsurprisingly, he packs a mean punch, and a single hit from him can be enough tip the scales in his favour. He’s also Tina’s dad. MMA fighter Mila hails from Spain, and apparently enjoys watching wrestling on TV....

Developer Kojima Productions has offered up more details on what we can expect from the Death Stranding: Director’s Cut release, and given a release date for the new version of Hideo Kojima’s latest game. During last night’s State of Play a new trailer revealed that, as well as the expected visual enhancements for the PlayStation 5 upgrade, there’ll be new story missions, new battles, new weapons like the Maser Gun and even advanced combat mechanic changes that include upgraded melee attacks....

All the footage shown for Hideo Kojima’s next game Death Stranding has shown gameplay from a third-person perspective, similar to Kojima’s previous Metal Gear Solid stealth-action series. Despite what has been shown so far, Kojima says that the game can be played from a first-person perspective. But Kojima was quick to clarify that the game is not a first-person shooter. The news comes from Kojima himself via a tweet where he said he is asked often about first-person in connection with Death Stranding, so he wanted to clear up if his next mysterious game can be played in more views than the third-person people have seen so far....

Destiny 2: Shadowkeep, the seventh expansion for Bungie’s sci-fi looter-shooter, has been out for a month now, and many players are beginning to reach for the new power cap of 960. Destiny 2’s Shadowkeep expansion is launching in less than two weeks, and both players and the team at Bungie have to be getting antsy about Destiny 2’s forthcoming new year. The hype for Destiny 2 Lightfall, the new DLC for the series, has been immense, as pre-orders for it have been the #1 Selling Game on Steam Globally now for 24 hours. Yesterday’s Showcase also boosted the Bungie title’s number on Twitch, bumping its Concurrent Viewers to well over 450k. Bungie announced the return of the Destiny 2 Solstice of Heroes 2020 event today with a blog post and trailer that previewed the upcoming content.
