Dead or Alive 6 is resurrecting sinister ninja chap, Raidou, Team Ninja and Tecmo Koei have announced. Fans of the series should remember Raidou. He was previously thought to have been bumped off after the events of the first Dead or Alive, but he’s back in action again thanks to the efforts of DOATEC’s biotechnology. The only problem is he’s gone a bit mental, and now only cares about destroying stuff and obtaining immense strength....

A remastered version of the original Dead Rising could be coming to PS4. Trophies for the unannounced re-release were listed on trophy-tracking website Exophase.com this weekend, although it isn’t yet clear whether it will also arrive on other platforms. Capcom has yet to announce a remaster, but has previously said that it wants to release more “remastered versions of popular older games”. Bad news, Hideo Kojima fans – you’ll have to wait a little longer for his most recent game. Death Stranding‘s upcoming PC port, originally due for release in June, has been delayed. Bungie is gearing up for the release of Destiny 2’s Season of the Drifter on March 5, which applies a number of changes for the game’s PvE/PvP mashup, Gambit. Bungie has just revealed more news regarding Destiny 2‘s Year 3 content. As stated in their official blog, players will experience four seasons. This is in contrast to the three seasons from Year 2. In addition, Bungie is promising that the choices that seasonal characters make will shape and change the game world. Although the blog doesn’t state specifics as to how this will pan out, they did state that non-seasonal characters will see these changes as the world of Destiny 2 evolves throughout Year 3....

Publisher Devolver Digital is the latest name to throw their hat into announcing an E3 press conference, after it tweeted today it will hold theirs on Sunday, June 9. In a new short interview with Belong Gaming Arenas, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s game director (Marc-Alexandre Milot) states that the game’s implementation of cross-play will help lower pings across the board. With a larger pool of players to draw from, matches should be filled with “double or triple” the amount of players than in the past. This will have a knock-on effect of making games run smoother since players will be closer together....
