Destiny 2’s Festival of the Lost is set to begin tomorrow, October 29, and it will give players a chance to take a break from their usual grinds in order to enjoy a spooky celebration. Last week, Bungie offered some details on Destiny 2’s Festival of the Lost 2019, showing off the event’s cosmetics and Braytech Werewolf legendary Auto Rifle, and now the developer is back with a high-energy trailer that is sure to get many players excited for the festivities....

Celebrities and athletes showing their love for anime is nothing new at this point, but Detroit Lions Running Back Jamaal Williams has proved his fandom is a cut above. In a recent NFL Prime-Time introductory reel shown before the Detroit Lions vs. Green Bay Packers game held on Jan. 8, Williams introduced himself as “the leader of the “First Swag Kazekage, leader of the Hidden Village of the Def’.” He did so while sporting a Village Hidden in the Sand shinobi headband he has been known to wear during appearances on camera, and said the line with a massive grin on his face....

Capcom has launched Devil May Cry 5’s first (and apparently, only) slice of DLC, Bloody Palace. Much like the previous incarnation of the mode, Bloody Palace pits gamers against hordes of demonic foes that increase in difficulty as you progress. A classic survival mode, in other words. You’ll compete against the perennial ticking of the clock as Dante, Nero, or V to cut a bloody swath through as many enemies as possible, hopefully netting an SSS rank along the way....

Running around a spooky building while your teammates constantly die from enemy attacks is very popular at the moment. Devour has managed to secure its own corner of the market and, hot on the heels of its popular second map, a third one, set in an inn, is currently in the works. The map is coming sometime in October because of course it is, and we now have a better idea of what to expect from it....

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare players have discovered a number of bugs with the game since launch, and luckily Infinity Ward has been quick to fix them when they’re discovered. Hopefully Infinity Ward is quick to fix this new bug that’s been found in the game, as it puts players using the P90 with FFS Ring Sight at a big disadvantage than if they were using a different sight in the game....

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is updated on a weekly basis. Sometimes these updates are substantial, like the Modern Warfare Season 2 update, and other times they are smaller scale playlist updates. Activision hasn’t clarified if the next Modern Warfare update will contain any bug fixes or other features on top of the playlist changes, but it has confirmed that at the very least, fans of the first-person shooter can expect new playlists this week....

Last night’s report that Activision is developing a sequel to live service battle royale Call of Duty Warzone has sparked concern among fans who have spent countless hours - not to mention money - on the original. Activision is yet to officially confirm it is making Warzone 2, but its existence emerged last night as part of a Bloomberg report which listed it as one of three upcoming Call of Duty games still to launch on PlayStation despite Microsoft’s planned $70bn takeover of Activision Blizzard....

Although multiplayer will be the main draw for most Modern Warfare 2 players, it should also have a fun campaign. It’ll probably be worth a playthrough for the story alone, but there’s more up for grabs. By completing the Modern Warfare 2 campaign, you’ll get access to a variety of unique rewards that you can use in multiplayer. We’ve got Steam copies of mech-based action game Metal Unit in today’s contest! I hate to be a party pooper, but April Fool’s Day kinda sucks. At best you get some chuckle-worthy jokes; at worst you get ill-intended pranks or fake announcements that get people’s hopes up only to have them come crashing down when they remember it’s April 1st. CD Projekt Red has announced it has a sequel to future-dystopian RPG Cyberpunk 2077 in development, giving it the codename Project Orion. The Polish outfit revealed the news during its latest Group Strategy update, where it also revealed it was working on no less than five new Witcher games. While it’s very early days yet, the follow-up is said to “further develop the potential embodied by this universe.” Cyberpunk 2077 sequel – what is it, is there a release date?...

Those of you hoping to take Dark Souls Remastered online with PS4 and screw with someone’s game on Xbox One will be disappointed to learn that the spruced up dungeon crawler will not support cross-play. Bandai Namco Games confirmed the news to IGN, stating succinctly that the game ‘will not have cross-platform play.’ Rumours have been gathering pace that Dark Souls Remastered would support the feature since the game’s announcement last week....
