Fast-forwarding to the release of Shadowkeep, Bungie made Destiny 2 - the base game and two expansions - Free-to-Play for all players....

Destiny 2 has been systemically throttling the amount of XP awarded to certain players, while displaying the ‘full’ rewards on-screen. Bungie have made a statement today saying the system will be deactivated “effective immediately,” but only after the hidden mechanic was exposed by diligent community testing. Specifically, one user of the Destiny subreddit (‘EnergiserX’) devoted a week of his life to tracking and recording what was going on. A new trailer for Bendy and the Dark Revival has been released, confirming a delay into the next year. Since the game’s initial announcement in February, updates have been sporadic, with a couple of trailers and pictures throughout the year. Although originally announced for a fall 2019 release, players will be returning to the studio in 2020. Bendy and the Ink Machine is a horror title taking place in a fictional animation studio....

Ed Warren was a self-taught ghost hunter, and his wife Lorraine was a spiritual medium, and their mythology led to the classic horror films The Amityville Horror and The Conjuring. The paranormal pioneers will be featured in Travel Channel’s upcoming Devil’s Road: The True Story of Ed and Lorraine Warren. Asmosdee’s digital board game, Pandemic, has been quietly withdrawn from sale “for a multitude of reasons that [the publisher] cannot disclose”. Without formal announcement, Pandemic was delisted from Steam on 6th January, and it looks as though players can’t pick it up on mobile devices now, either (although if you already own the game, you should be able to re-download it again from your library if you’re quick). All signs of the game have been scrubbed from the company’s website, too....

In case you’ve been living under a rock all summer long, director Christopher Nolan’s bit of sci-fi, psyche cinema, Inception, has done pretty well at the box office.
