From Software’s Dark Souls 3 will be playable for the very first time at next month’s Gamescom. Fans will be able to get their hands on the next instalment of the popular RPG series on the show floor in Cologne. The game was revealed during E3, and was confirmed to have a different development team to PS4-exclusive Bloodborne. However, the game is still being directed by developer Hidetaka Miyazaki, who also noted the third entry will have fewer, yet larger locations than its predecessors....

Darksiders 2 is being remastered for current-gen consoles, Nordic Games has confirmed. Due out this winter, Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition promises to be a visually updated version of the 2012 action-RPG, offering native 1080p graphics, enhanced lighting and shadows, and “reworked level, character and environment graphics”. Every piece of DLC is being thrown in, too, along with further tweaks to the game’s balancing and loot system. The remaster is being developed by new studio Gunfire Games, a team largely comprised of former Darksiders developers....

Darksiders Genesis has some difficult bosses. In Chapter 9, there’s a boss that has a lot of players looking for guides online named Demon Lord Belial. There are lots of reasons people have trouble with him, and he’s difficult enough that his fight is adding time to how long players are taking to beat the game. He’s big, strong, and unbelievably agile, and players may find themselves needing help. Belial’s Stats Belial is a Hebrew word meaning “wicked” and this boss has absolutely earns that title....

Konami horror project P.T. has been made playable on a PlayStation 5, via a hacked PS4 emulator. Streamer and dataminer Lance McDonald has managed to get the game working on a non-jailbroken PS5 console. Essentially, a legitimate copy of P.T. is required as well as an active PSN account on both a jailbroken PS5 and a normal, fully updated PS5. The emulator is then transferred from one to the other....

The Dead Space remake is a dark and gruesome game. And after hours of dismembering Necromorphs, it can get pretty tiresome. Luckily, we know of just the thing to brighten the game up a little bit. The Hand Cannon is an unlockable item in the Dead Space remake that brings a bit of fun to the game. But it’s probably not what you’d expect. Longtime fans of the series may remember the Hand Cannon from Dead Space 2....

Bungie has revealed that all Destiny 2 Year 1 weapons and armour can be carried over to September’s Forsaken expansion. Speaking with Game Informer, Destiny 2: Forsaken’s Creative Director, Steve Cotton, revealed that players can infuse their existing gear to bring it up to the new power cap. In other words, if you’ve got a favourite exotic helmet or hand cannon knocking about, you can still put them to use in Year 2....

Fans are eagerly awaiting the official announcement of the new battle royale for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. After today’s update for Modern Warfare, that reveal may be closer than some fans realize, thanks to a hidden message in-game. The ’80s are finally breaking into video games. Rambo, who debuted in Mortal Kombat 11 just last year, is now leaping over to Call of Duty: Warzone. After being teased in a prior tweet from the game’s account, another tweet today confirmed that Rambo, along with other 80s action icons, would be added to the game. Call of Duty Next came out in full force with some Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile gameplay and details. The biggest detail? Warzone Mobile will feature lobbies of a staggering 120 players. The presenters made sure to emphasize that these 120 players will be real, not bots as other mobile battle royales often implement. These 120-player lobbies are available through the same technology that runs Warzone 2.0 and Modern Warfare 2....

Capcom has announced two new Monster Hunter games coming to the Nintendo Switch next year in the form of Monster Hunter Rise and Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin. Both games were revealed during today’s Nintendo Direct Mini, with the first —Monster Hunter Rise— being an open world adventure in the mould of Monster Hunter World, seeing you set out to team up with you and up to three other players in order to save Kamura Village (which will also act as your home base) from an impending rampage from monsters including the giant bird wyvern Aknosom, the amphibius Tetranadon and what appears to be the game’s biggest baddest beast in the form of Magnamala....

CD Projekt - the publisher behind studio CD Projekt Red, developer of The Witcher games and, of course, Cyberpunk 2077 - has seen its share value plummet by over 75 percent. Emily Hampshire, best known for the acclaimed Canadian comedy Schitt’s Creek, is set to join a Stephen King adaptation television series, an intriguing period piece chronicling the origins of one of the author’s signature horror novel, Salem’s Lot. The horror series, set for premium cable channel Epix, is titled Chapelwaite, and will adapt “Jerusalem’s Lot,” the 1978 short story prequel to King’s 1975 vampire outbreak epic, Salem’s Lot, chronicling the 1850s-set events that initially brought darkness to the novel’s sleepy Maine town setting....

Jericho was eating at the Longhorn Steakhouse upon returning to Florida after his win over Hangman Adam Page on Saturday night. His limo dropped him off and then returned to the airport.
