Sony Bend has announced that it will roll out fresh content for Days Gone this June, and what’s more, it’ll be totally free to boot. Destiny 2’s Season of Dawn came with an all new Season Pass, but players are starting to realize there are some flaws in this system. As an older, mostly casual fan of Pokemon, I feel a bit awkward reviewing Detective Pikachu. After all, it’s clear that this film was made to please long-time Pokemon fans as well as younger viewers. Allowing Wii U and PC players to compete against each other in Devil’s Third’s online multiplayer would be “nonsense” because of the two platforms’ different control methods, creator Tomonobu Itagaki has said. Answering questions on his Facebook page, Itagaki explained that “the online versus play is not compatible between Wii U and PCs. ‘Cuz I think you know that’s nonsense. If control devices differs, then it’s not fair.” Valhalla Game Studios announced yesterday that it would be working with additional publishers to bring Devil’s Third Online, a standalone free-to-play version of Devil’s Third’s online multiplayer, to PC following the Wii U version’s release next month....

The Thailand stage that was released as part of recent Street Fighter V DLC has been removed by Capcom after it was found that the background music has ‘unintentional religious references.’ In a statement released by Capcom, the publisher announced that they would be pulling the Thailand Temple Hideout DLC Stage temporarily, because the stage’s music contains an Islamic prayer. ‘An emergency server maintenance update in the very near future’ will take out the track and replace it with ‘existing music from another stage....

Torn Banner Studios, Tripwire Presents and Deep Silver have announced that first person medieival combat game Chivalry II will launch on June 8, and get a cross-play closed beta event next month on consoles and PC.
