Even though Armor 2.0 is coming soon to Destiny 2 in the Shadowkeep expansion, there is still good reason for some players to go after a perfectly built set of current armor. Even developer Bungie said it expects players who have good sets of the current armor to transition to Armor 2.0 much more slowly until they earn and unlock more mods and are able to build an Armor 2.0 set to match or rival their current best....

Season of Dawn just began in Destiny 2, introducing a new season of content including The Sundial seasonal activity, new exotics, and more to come over the course of the next few months. We’ve got an all new trailer for the Digimon movie that gives us a better look at the plot, including the idea that the characters may have to give up their Digimon as they grow up! True to his word, popular Twitch streamer Jeremy “DisguisedToast” Wang purchased 1,000 subscriptions to his own viewers of his channel for failing to find a shiny Wooloo in Pokémon Sword and Shield. DisguisedToast made the promise to his viewers, confident that after a fifteen-hour session the odds would surely be in his favor in finding the rare Pokémon variant. He was incorrect in the end and spent $5,000 to be distributed seemingly at random to his own viewers through subscriptions....

Infinity Ward is selling an item obtainable for free in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare as part of a bundle that costs somewhere in the region of $14. Loot boxes, microtransactions, and in-game purchases are a minefield for both developers and players. However, the success of these elements of gaming would suggest most deem them as a risk worth taking. Players appear to love spending money on games, even if they have forked out for a copy of it, to begin with, and developers love to take that money....

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare looks to be going all out to ensure it is the de facto multiplayer shooter this fall. Stainless Games has announced Carmageddon: Max Damage, the latest entry in the classic blood-soaked racing series heading to PS4 and Xbox One later this year. Due for release exclusively on console, the new game promises to include over 30 unique vehicles, more than 90 power ups and 10 large environments for players to explore as they mow down pedestrians, animals and aliens in their “custom killing machines” As well as a career mode, Max Damage also throws in a multiplayer mode and an action replay mode that lets players “relive all the action again from any perspective”....

Maddy Thorson, creator of the tricky yet accessible platformer Celeste, has written a self-reflective blog on the game’s fourth anniversary. Released on 25th January 2018, the story of Celeste - that of overcoming impossible odds to climb the titular mountain - resonated with plenty of people, none more so than Thorson herself. Capcom has bundled all of its teasers for Resident Evil 2’s alternate costumes into one handy video for your to gawk at. For those who haven’t been keeping up, Resi 2’s Deluxe Edition gives you five extra outfits; three for Claire and two for Leon, with the Noir costume shared by both protagonists. Leon also gets an Arklay Sheriff uniform, while Claire gets an Elza Walker and Military outfit. The Elza costume is also available in the European-exclusive Steelbook edition of the upcoming survival horror remake....

Child’s Play creator Don Mancini has been chatting about what we can expect from his upcoming Chucky TV series, which Syfy ordered earlier this year before our eternal winter of discontent the lockdown began. A new Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater game may potentially be on the way, according to a recent leak. The leak came from the unlikeliest of people: CKY drummer Jess Margera. As a longtime Borderlands fan, I’ve often been an apologist for one of their most egregious pop culture contributions: Claptrap. This little robot has shockingly been around for the entirety of the Borderlands saga, meaning that if you’ve played one Borderlands game, you’re very well acquainted with Claptrap. Considering his constant inclusion, he’s basically the mascot for the Borderlands series, and probably even Gearbox as a whole. Well, it’s probably time that came to an end....
