Former Arkane Lyon director Romuald Capron is working on Darwin’s Paradox, a fifties-style sci-fi platformer. Capron joined the game’s developer, ZeDrimeTim, to work on the game, after leaving Arkane Lyon in 2021. This will be the new studio’s debut game. The director of D4: Dark Dreams Don’t Die, Hidetaka ‘Swery’ Suehiro, has responded to a question from a Twitter user, who asked why the episodic game D4 was never finished. Swery apologised, saying [sic], ‘THAT WAS MY FAULT. SO I am sorry 10000 times. But I was sick, and I have to left ex-company. Life is sometimes difficult. Life is sometimes tough than you think.’ Back in 2015, Swery took a leave of absence from the D4 and Deadly Premonition developer, Access Games, due to health reasons, before subsequently retiring....
Deadpool 2 has been confirmed to be in the works, with Ryan Reynolds and director Tim Miller on board alongside the entire creative team behind the monster-hit comic book film. One of the main mechanics for earning gear in Destiny 2: Shadowkeep is using the Lectern of Enchantment to craft the new weapons and armor on the Moon. Players can purchase additional Essences from the Lectern with the rare Phantasmal Core item, but they will also come across each Essence naturally while playing the story missions and other content on the Moon. Developer Sledgehammer Games has shared the first major details on Call of Duty: WWII’s upcoming ranked play season two, which will kick off on February 1. Chiefly, Michael Condrey promised the studio would be taking on board player feedback for the next round, as well as implementing season one data into the mix.
