This week’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare playlist update is offering some interesting new modes for players to try, plus it brings back one of the most popular playlists. First off, Modern Warfare is introducing a new version of Gunfight. The 2v2 Gunfight variant will now allow players to choose which weapons they bring into the map....

Last week, Infinity Ward teased a new map and game mode for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare for the next update. We now have confirmation that the new map, game mode, and other bonuses are going live in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare throughout the week. As part of the Fight Knight update, Chivalry 2 players can now enjoy two new game modes, a new weapon, and a fully-featured Halloween event. The latest Nintendo Direct broadcast confirmed overnight that the Switch edition of Dark Souls Remastered is getting its own swanky-looking Solaire of Astora amiibo. Due out alongside the spruced up version of 2011’s acclaimed dungeon crawler, the amiibo can be used by players to activate the ‘Praise the Sun’ in-game gesture from the beginning, as opposed to unlocking it in the usual manner. In addition, publisher Bandai Namco Games has confirmed that it will host a network test for Dark Souls Remastered prior to launch, which will be available for PS4, Xbox One, and Switch users....

Death Stranding hasn’t really been doing much of anything for a while now, but creator Hideo Kojima has hinted that might be about to change in the shape of a new trailer. The Kojima Productions boss Tweeted out an image of a PC screen depicting what seems to be a trailer for Death Stranding, with a second screen in the background displaying what many assume to be editing software.
