Hideo Kojima has discussed his mysterious cloud gaming project Microsoft is set to publish, saying companies he’d discussed it with previously thought he was “mad”. Speaking to IGN, the game developer legend revealed the project has been on his mind for some time. “The project we’re working on with Microsoft is one I have been thinking about for five or six years already,” Kojima said. “The project required infrastructure that was never needed before, so I discussed it with lots of different big companies and gave presentations, but they really seemed to think that I was mad....

Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time developer Toys for Bob appears to have been shuffled to help work on Call of Duty: Warzone as reports circle of multiple layoffs at the studio. he planned Dark Souls 3 1.11 patch set to launch on March 24 will include an increased frame rate for PS4 Pro players. However, the extent of the PS4 Pro enhancements remains unclear, with the game’s official Twitter stating the update will see the game run at a “variable” frame rate. There are many movies that people consider to be so bad that they circle back around from zero and become good, such as Birdemic and The Room. It would be tempting to use the same description for Deadly Premonition Origins, as it’s bizarre humor and quirky dialogue can be endearing in its own way, but it’s chained to a video game that is absolute garbage on a technical level. The best way to describe Deadly Premonition Origins is to imagine several developers being tasked with creating a video game that is heavily inspired by Twin Peaks, but each of the games came from a totally different genre....

Deathloop came out to rave reviews, earning perfect scores from some outlets and a 9/10 from us. However, it didn’t take long after it launched before it ran into troubles. PC users were reporting a serious stuttering issue, turning enjoyment into frustration. Steam users were quick to bring the game to a mixed rating. Developer Arkane did respond, saying fixing it was the company’s main “priority.” Today, Arkane has released a Deathloop PC patch that may put its stuttering issues to bed once and for all....

Bethesda and Arkane have put out another new trailer for upcoming murder puzzle Deathloop, only this time featuring the game’s director Dinga Bakaba explaining the basic premise of the game ahead of its launch later this year. Bungie has revealed that Destiny 2’s Gambit mode will be available to play for free this weekend. Gambit was introduced with the shared-world shooter’s latest expansion, Forsaken, and combines elements of PvE and PvP into one competitive package. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has released to mostly positive reviews from critics, but the reaction from fans has been more mixed, for a variety of reasons. Activision has revealed its plans for the first season of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
