No Man’s Sky doesn’t tend to go on sale below $30 USD for the PC version. I’d take umbrage with that if it weren’t for the fact that it simply hasn’t stopped receiving massive updates since its release. The game is getting update 3.6 soon. That’s quite the version number for something that isn’t an MMO. This latest No Man’s Sky update is known as Frontiers, and not only does it come with significant changes to base building, but you’ll be under attack from throngs of angry (or probably neutral, since they’re machines) robots that likely won’t chant “become as gods” as they throw themselves at the walls....

Guardians will have new adventures and challenges to face in Destiny 2‘s upcoming content drop. In Destiny 2: Season of the Splicer, players will need to get the help of Mithrax as he’s your only hope of stopping the Vex. The rampaging robots have returned, and they even managed to extinguish the sun. Wow, I guess they took sunsetting to the next level. I digress. Point is, you’ve got several activities to tackle....

When Bungie laid out its roadmap for the future of Destiny 2 with its Year 3 plans, the developer promised a focus on Player versus Player (PvP) modes of play within the Crucible. This news was well-received among players who love PvP, but since the announcement, Bungie seems to have done little to support its initial claim, leaving many players frustrated at the lack of content released. In the lead up to the upcoming Season of Dawn in Destiny 2, Bungie invited some of the most well-known and popular PvP players and streamers to the studio, such as Benjamin “DrLupo” Lupo....

Activision and Bungie have released the Last Call teaser trailer for Destiny 2. The CGI trailer features iconic character Cayde-6 sat at a bar which is crumbling around him, reminiscing about a time he shot a load of people. The next character class in upcoming dungeon crawler sequel Diablo IV has been revealed by Blizzard, and this time it’s the turn of the Rogue. Joining the previously announced classes of the Druid, Barbarian and Sorceress, the Rogue’s moveset is all based around dexterity and will have a range of melee and ranged attacks at their disposal as well as traps, poisons and shadow magic. Those familiar with the series may also note parallels with the Assassin and Demon Hunter classes from previous games, with the studio promising that Rogues will get some of their skills as well....

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s campaign and multiplayer are both fairly polished experiences (balancing issues aside), but the Spec Ops co-op mode has been known to be quite buggy. Spec Ops has been giving Call of Duty: Modern Warfare fans trouble since launch, and the bugs have persisted, though this latest one may actually be something that fans won’t get mad about when it happens to them. A new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare glitch appears to reveal the game’s full battle royale map....

The Witcher franchise is probably going to make a comeback at some point, but don’t bank on it being called The Witcher 4, developer CD Projekt RED has said. Right now the studio is busy beavering away on the highly anticipated Cyberpunk 2077, and has a second project also in the pipeline. Right now however, the developer isn’t saying anything about this mystery title. Chivalry 2 had a bit of a rough launch, but it’s finally getting its 2.01 patch after some delays. On Thursday, Corsair introduced its new MP600 series of high-speed SSDs. In total, there are three new PCIe 4.0 drives to choose from: the MP600 Core, MP600 Pro, and MP600 Pro Hydro X Edition. The new drives feature an M.2 2280 NVMe form factor and come in multiple drive sizes. The MP600 Core is available in 1 TB, 2 TB, and 4 TB capacities. It also provides up to 4,950 Mbps read speeds along with 3,950 Mbps write speeds....

Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer for 3DS is out now and is the first game to make use of Nintendo’s new amiibo cards – they function just like an amiibo figure, only they are cards, not display-friendly toys. Chances are you’ll end up collecting quite a few of these cards, so what do you do with them when you’re not playing? Despite debuting on Steam almost two years ago and hitting Xbox Preview last May, Hunt Showdown has been mysteriously absent from the PlayStation 4. That will be changing sooner rather than later. Announced by Crytek, Hunt: Showdown will be making its debut on the PlayStation 4 on February 18, where it will debut alongside a new update bringing a handful of major new features. For one, this update will allow PlayStation and Xbox users to play the title together through cross-play, while some new items will also be added alongside a number of major fixes....

CD Projekt Red has revealed that Cyberpunk 2077 character customisation options and romance scenes will attempt to be as inclusive as possible in a number of approaches, in an interview with Video Games Chronicle. Cyberpunk 2077 level designer Max Pears explained what character customisation would mean for its gameplay and social relationships in Night City. Firstly, the supporting cast of characters will always refer to the Samurai by their name, rather than a gender....

Motion Twin has released an animated trailer in celebration of today’s arrival of the Dead Cells: The Bad Seed DLC. The trailer treats us to the sight of our flaming-headed protagonist’s epic fighting moves as he dispatches enemy after enemy. Then we’re hilariously reminded that Dead Cells is a rogue-like game and one mistake could cost you your life.
