Midway through the current Season of Dawn, Destiny 2 is in an odd place with its player base. Along with a number of bugs, there’s also been an undercurrent of dissatisfaction with how the seasonal structure has been implemented by some of the more veteran players of the game. Still, even with the rush to play through and maximize time with the game due to content going away each season as well as the constant grind for XP and advancing through the battle pass, it’s easy to forget just how good Destiny 2 looks....

A huge Destiny weapon tuning update has been detailed by developer Bungie, with the tweaks made to base and exotic weapons sure to affect how you play the online shooter. “This update has been a long time coming, but I’m very happy to be here again to talk about some pending weapon changes,” wrote Destiny sandbox designer Jon Weisnewski. He added: “First and foremost, I want to personally acknowledge the community for their resounding feedback on a variety of the items that we plan on addressing here....

Bungie has announced that it has plans to finally release the long-delayed Music of the Spheres, the musical companion to its 2014 shared-world shooter, Destiny. Music of the Spheres was a massive undertaking by former Bungie composer, Marty O’ Donnell, and was originally scheduled to launch alongside the alien-blasting loot-’em-up at launch. The eight-piece movement symphony was recorded in collaboration with Sir Paul McCartney, who you may recall also recorded the cringey Destiny theme song, Hope for the Future....

Remember Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny, that NIS America decided to release only for Nintendo Switch while the Japanese version launched for both Switch and PS4? Apparently, whatever deal was behind that decision, it has expired. Today the publisher announced Disgaea 6 Complete for PS5, PS4, and PC. It’s coming in the summer of 2022, a year after the launch on Switch. Since it’s “complete” it’s getting all the DLC that were released for Nintendo Switch out of the box....

Capcom learned some valuable lessons while working with Ninja Theory during the development of DmC: Devil May Cry, producer Matt Walker revealed during a chat with VG247. While the 2013 demon-slasher was well-received by critics, it didn’t do so well commercially, putting the kibosh on a sequel. Developer Torn Banner Studios has announced that upcoming medieval-themed first-person fighter Chivalry II will be releasing on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 at the same time as its already announced PC release, with next-gen versions to follow at a later date.
