On June 5th Daybreak Games announced the Elite Series, a new esports circuit that focuses on the popular massive arena shooter H1Z1: King Of The Kill. The new circuit will feature in person tournaments worldwide, with a total of $1 Million Dollars in prize money for winners of numerous events. The tournaments will feature in North American, European, APAC (Asia-Pacific) and LATAM (Latin America) regions. A number of the top players have been invited to the first event, taking place at DreamHack Atlanta July 21st to the 23rd....

Dead Cells continues to add new content since its official 2018 launch with more guest characters and weapons in its latest update now available on the PC version. The free “Everyone is Here Vol. II” update adds character outfits and weapons from another six indie games to the action roguelike. Dead Cells had previously did the same for six indie games last year, including Hollow Knight and Curse of the Dead Gods....

Death Stranding has an official release date for PC and a new trailer to accompany the announcement. The first game from Kojima Productions is slated for launch on PC on June 2. The studio released a rundown of known issues in Destiny 2 that players may encounter while experiencing Season of Dawn content. Shadowkeep is out now, and while Destiny 2’s latest expansion may not be quite as good as Forsaken, it certainly did a few things right that make it a great and impactful expansion. It’s Tuesday, so Bungie has once again updated Destiny’s servers and brought new Strikes and Prison of Elders challenges to fight through. This week’s Heroic Strike takes place on Old Russia as you take on the always welcome Sepiks Prime (thanks to the helpful cheat at the far end of the final room). The only modifier here is Solar burn, so bring your fire-enthused weapons along for the ride. The Weekly Nightfall sees Ketch come back once again with a House of Wolves Strike taking pride of place....

Indie publisher Devolver Digital will be holding a “Devolver Direct” now that E3 2020 is no longer happening, and it will be a live streamed press conference. Nintendo, Ubisoft, and Xbox are thinking about doing digital conferences for their announcements and content that were to be exhibited at the event. Devolver Digital is taking a leaf out of their books, too, though no date nor details have been officially released at the moment....

The 16th season of Diablo 3 has gone live, along with the game’s latest update, Blizzard has announced. It promises a load of QOL changes, a seasonal buff, and some class set tweaks. Season 16, which is called Season of Grandeur, will see all players benefitting from the fancy seasonal buff without having to equip anything. Fantastic. ‘Bear in mind that this buff does not stack with additional Rings of Royal Grandeur, whether they be equipped directly on your character or via the Jewellery slot in Kanai’s Cube,’ Blizzard said in the announcement post....

Diablo Immortal is out on Android and iOS and it is gaining attention from players old and new. The free-to-play game is adding more players to the Diablo fandom. The PvE part of the game requires a lot of grind to collect Legendary Items and gear, and increase your in-game attributes.
